2023. I’m so glad you can afford this to add to your life. My husband is a paraplegic retired police Chief it’s our dream but just can’t afford. Not for the lack of trying l😂 you are blessed.

Thank you for your videos Joe. We have a Canyon Star 3710 and I have learned things from you sharing your experiences. I enjoyed you sharing your approach to fuel stops. As you said, most stations aren't set up with large gas coaches in mind.

Thanks Joe for another great video. Becky and I always look forward to your next video. Your coach and the modifications you’ve made is an inspiration. The Canyon Star 3911 is just another reason Newmar is a first class RV manufacturer. We have a ‘17 3513 Canyon Star that we absolutely enjoy. Safe travels and keep up the good work.

Very nice coach! Really like your Accessibility !! Thx for sharing ! I'm a Para as well, don't have a lift yet in the coach but I framed up inside the entry door and installed a small winch with synthetic rope to lift me up 40" to floor height, in our 34' coach. Works well actually. Where there's a way there's a will right...

I have a ‘17 3911. I like your door remote upgrade. Where did you go for that? That would be handy to have! Thanks

I’m 56 year old paraplegic. My wife and I have been hobby Rv’ing for 18 years, always in Winnebagos. We are about to purchase a 2020 Canyon Star 3911. We’ve watched dozens of videos. Yours have been the most informative for us. Thanks for making the effort.

Hi there. Thank you for the informative video. Im also in a wheelchair and like to go places by myself. Does this model come with the lift installed or it something you installed afterwards?
@goodxrvn20532 жыл бұрын
Newmar has several models that are fully accessible with a wheelchair lift. This model, CanyonStar 3911, is fully accessible from the Factory. The RV can be serviced by any factory trained service tech and at the Factory Service Center in Nappanee, Indiana, our preference. The CanyonStar 3911 was discontinued for the 2022 model. Here is a link to all the other accessible models from Newmar. www.newmarcorp.com/wheelchair-accessible/ Thanks for watching. Joe

Hi Joe, what is the weight capacity of the lift ( I ride a mobility scooter rated to 450 pounds). Mike in Oregon
@goodxrvn20532 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. The lift installed in this RV has a max lifting capacity of 1000 lbs.

Thank you Joe. One question. If all hell breaks loose and you need to get out and have no power for a particular reason. Does that lift and door have a manual release or fail safe?
@goodxrvn20533 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. Yes, the lift can be operated manually with a standard hand pump and the door for the lift can be swung wide open manually with a standard door latch. Additionally, at the drivers position there is a door should there be a need to exit directly from the driver's position. More importantly the driver's door is the only full sized exit on the left side of the RV. This driver's door is a rarely ordered option on the CanyonStar but something I thought was important. Safe Travels.

How hard is it for you to hook to the park electric and water by yourself, or does someone help you?
@goodxrvn20532 жыл бұрын
An excellent question, over 4 years of travel, covering 25,000 miles, there have been only a couple of times that the hook ups were inaccessible. Those times either a local camper or campground staff were quick to help with the hook ups. That said, normally our stops are either dry camping (no hookups) or established campgrounds, National, State, County campgrounds with a combination of either partial or full hookups. Typically i managed the hooking up of the RV when traveling alone or with my wife, Gail. Thank you for the question.
