I’d like to see the procedure for a Yamaha grand, please.

The procedure for a Yamaha grand and for the Shimmel grand in the video are much the same. The one difference is that there are no screws in either side of the face of the fallboard to unscrew. The fall board is removed simply by first by leaning it towards you at about a 45 degree angle and the pulling straight up. There is a spring holding it with friction so sometimes it takes bit of a pull to get it released. After the fall board is removed then you remove the check blocks before removing the key slip is possible.

Can you tell me if the steinhart disassembly is the same as the Steinway ?

Pianos from different manufacturers may have different requirements for the removal of the action or the disassembly of the piano, but they are similar in many respects. Thanks for watching!
