he also has a show called Medici which I found really good, I'm British but my full first name is Scottish Gaelic and I've always found a sense of connection to Scotland obviously not ancestrally for obvious reasons but more spiritually. And of course growing up in rural England and learning about the anglo saxons and other peoples of what made what we call the United Kingdom is very interesting for any history buffs out there. Tho most people like London and places in the south I feel more at home up North

Actually, you're not far off. James McAvoy was born and bred in Glasgow and Richard Madden grew up near Paisley which is just outside Glasgow. David Tennant grew up near Paisley as well. If you want to hear a soft Edinburgh accent (South East Scotland), listen to Outlander's Sam Heughan being interviewed - I think you'll hear the difference. By the way, all four of theses actors attended the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow
