I grew up in very early 1980's learning to drive a Volkswagen rabbit with manual transmission. I just bought a 2023 Tacoma TRD off road truck with the A/T. Was almost about to buy it with a 6 speed manual transmission but decided not to do so since I will be driving from northeast tennessee up to visit with my daughter in richmond, va and to visit with my naval officer son who is currently living in Alexandria,va. Decided that I did not want to drive in heavy traffic in both towns having to change gears manually when traffic would come to a slow crawl or a standstill on Interstate 95.

As an owner of a 2022 Tacoma I wouldnt leave the lot without buying the bed mat, otherwise you will be driven insane if you place ANYTHING in your truck bed.

Nice Truck Jeff. I am grateful I bought my Tacoma (2012 Base 5 speed manual) back in March 2013. Brand new with 23 miles on it for $18,300.00 (Red Tag Sale). Sticker was $22,600.00 Trucks have just gotten so pricey over the years. For $41K+ I would expect a JBL system with this truck here...

Lots of new goodies in the new Tacomas...I likey the 6-spd manual tranny. Drove a '68 Chevy C20 four speed and a '79 Toyota Celica five speed when I was learning to drive a manual.

Does the 4x4 off road four door ride better than the 4x4 sport four door. It has bn stated that the off road rides better
@Toyotajeff2 жыл бұрын
Me personally I like the off-road ride better. Other people might feel differently but that’s my choice

Another great video! Tires look great but I can just imagine how loud they'll be. BTW - I get it, you don't buy an off road truck for it's quiet ride and you don't watch Jeff's videos to hear him sing. :-)
@bradspaugh9827 Жыл бұрын
Thry really are not loud. They are not like BFGs

309$ for led lights? Wow i pay 39$ and did it my self, 200$ interior led? Toyota dealers are crazy on over price accessories
@grayman618 Жыл бұрын
Turn your head or use your camera for backing, why do u need backup sensors? Don't get this seems overkill. they charge full price for the tire upgrade! Get the original factory tires and buy an extra set of what you want. That's like paying extra for your truck to come with tires.

Bed lights are 79 on Amazon just saying
@WilfordBrimleyGaming2 жыл бұрын
I like a lot of them but from the factory, they are very overpriced. I've ordered several of these options from toyota themselves for less than 50% of the cost and will do the work myself. I got bed lights for 40 bucks for example. Bed step was 170 a couple weeks ago when they had a sale.
