Heartbreaking that Venice would allow cruise ships to even come close to the city. A cadre of local business people convinced the city that these ships would bring in lots of cash when the tourists swarmed ashore. In actual fact, passengers went back aboard the ships later in the day having spent a fraction of what was hoped for.

Look at other videos. It was a bad tug boat operator pulling the ship at full power and another at the stern pulling hard. The bow tug could have pulled port and aft. The tugs thought they had a gondola in stead of a floating city. Glad that it wasn't worse. Conspiracy note. The groups in the city have been fighting against large ships and maybe this accident was manufactured to help their cause

Honestly, how is that even possible? These are highly educated sailors, you at least should think - and then that. Unbelieveable!
@incoralium92114 жыл бұрын
Rule number 1 : it is impossible to prevent all risks. ( know as murphy's law). + they are not educated to prevent mechanical failures, but to be able to control the boat even if there is a failure. Think about it : a pilot ( airplane) have to land with a reactor in flames. Same here : you have no break for some unlucky reasons, how do you "land" safely ? See here : no dead, no injuried. minor damage on his own boat. That's definitely what we expected from him.
@Dolphinsz4 жыл бұрын
Just shows how little you know. A lot of things could have caused this. Problem with the controls emergency shut off for engines not working or even if they did traveling at 3 to 6 knots with 80.000 tons. Takes a lot to stop you. Please donr be so ignorant.
