@@fledthehunter5293 Did you not watch the video footage? He was not driving that fast, possibly even slower than the trucks at the time of accident. True, the car is driving quickly in the first part of the _video game simulation,_ but the part that matters more is the actual video footage which shows that he was not driving that quickly. Also, as I stated in my comment, there are no visible stop signs or indications of who has right of way in either the dash cam footage or simulated footage, which makes the intersection way more dangerous, because intersections should have some indication of who should have right of way and who should stop at them. Thus, we are brought right back to the point I originally made, which is that it looks like poor intersection design was one of the main causes of the crash.

@Lynxmountain Well then it should've been obvious for him to stop, the truck on the right had the right of way. If there is no indication then the car on your right always has the right of way. This is basic stuff. The other truck didn't stop because he knew that the car didn't have the right of way so many people just drive past. You can't always blame the intersection and road design, this was a very simple cross roads. Either the driver wasn't paying attention or he thought he would make it.

The car and the truck left of it arrived at the intersection at the same time, while the truck to the right of the car was not at the intersection yet. Following uncontrolled intersection rules, cars that arrive at an uncontrolled intersection first have right of way, and when two cars arrive at an intersection at the same time, the car on the left yields to the car on the right, so the truck that the dashcam footage is from should have yielded to the car. had the truck properly yielded, the car would have been able to make it through before the other truck entered the intersection, which would have avoided a crash. If you are going to state a rule, state the full rule, not just half of it. The truck on the right is not included in the yielding to the right because it had not yet arrived at the intersection, so the car did not need to yield to it. Also, my original point still stands, because it is an intersection without any indication of who should stop or yield, it is still an unsafe intersection.
