Never ever put your airbag trigger away. You can be involved in a slide on the ascent. Or you may just forget to bring it out. I keep mine out even at home, and with hundreds of backcountry days under my belt not once have I accidently pulled the trigger. I have however pulled it purposely in an avalanche while ascending.
