The ONLY ENGINE THAT RIVALS and is as reliable is the Toyota 2.5, 205 Horsepower that used in many Toyota models. You can’t go wrong with either brand, if you want performance and sporty styling, then Honda is the choice, if you want a smoother ride and more family oriented the Toyota is the choice. This car is a econo box. Nobody in their right mind buys a crv and wants to put 91/93 gas in it. It doesn’t make sense. Yes it’s a turbo car but not a high performance turbo. 87 is fine. I doubt there is detention. Detention causes ring lands to fail. I have. 2012 crv and a 2017 crv I change the oil at the 50% mark. Still not sure why there is a head gasket issue. Time will tell. Thanks for all the videos!
@BCautosolutions
@BCautosolutions Жыл бұрын
Funny you say that. Recommended fuel in 23+ accord is 91 octane. I think Honda is feeling the pain and wants to minimize that. It definitely detonates. I can see the knock sensor being relatively active on 87 vs 93. There’s also a design failure besides that so it’s not 1 single issue. I will be doing a video on my views and opinions on this. Thanks for watching.

Have a 2017 accord, took my car in at 63k for transmission fluid change. Two weeks later I started getting occasional misfire at a light. Went back and they recommended cleaning throttle body. Issue still remained so changed the throttle body and spark splugs. Issue got better but every now and then it still happens. Not getting any codes so dont want to throw more parts unless I’m 100% sure. One mechanic said it could be a bad motor mount because the rpms decrease when AC is on low and I get slight rough vibration when approaching a light and compressor clutch engages. Can’t help but feel something was done at the dealership the first time because then the second time they wanted to sell me an extended warranty. Any ideas on what it could be?
