Dentro del popurri de "Polquitas del tigre" que toca excelentemente bien Frankie; la primer polka, despues de la introduccion y antes del final, la cual repite, se llama: "Arriba Santiago Ixcuintla". Este nombre pertenece a un pueblito del Estado de Nayarit, al suroeste de Mexico.

Immortal Aztlan I’m not that nieve. I know he wasn’t the originator of those songs.But he put his own flavor to these songs and made it his own. And there’s nothing wrong with him playing it all these yrs. I still enjoy it.

Pure ignorance. That is how culture dies. This mentality is how culture dies, this mentality is what has ALWAYS hurt conjunto music and it will continue to. This music is about cultura and casting culture aside is how conjunto stayed at the bottom. And i love this music but this bullshit attitude has only helped to dilute it and hinder it's spread. Most of the ignorant don't know conjunto was always looked down upon because whites called it Mexican music since it's all in Spanish. Ignorance is plentiful in the conjunto community and it comes from ignorance like the comment I'm responding to.
