This cartoon made me yearn for the first time in my life to still be able to watch this kind of thing at the cinema. I feel in my heart that this should be playing before a film on the big screen. I want to cheer with an audience when the police officer gets booted. These three are adorable and the music is so characterful.

I'm just old enough to remember cartoons in movie theaters. It didn't end all at once. The effect is overwhelming. I was never a fan of the Roadrunner cartoons, but those landscapes on a big screen were very impressive. There's just no comparison to a TV screen (not to mention 32mm film as opposed to low resolution broadcast video).
