Another tip: when you visit the support unit menu, all the ops that are displayed are owned by high level players(100-120). I recommend adding a lot of them even though you won't use their units just yet, It'll come in handy later when you can then borrow some e2 units

I've reached level 65 within a month of playing, that's probably the effect of me spending most of my OPs to grind 4-4 a lot when trying to E2M3 my silverash ASAP

Unless you spend money on the game, I wouldn't recommend spending OP on sanity refreshes, I've done it in the past, but only during an event and I never spent more than 7 or so, and even then, I could feel the hit to my reserves, so I quit. Granted, early on in the game, it's not as big of a deal, since you can speed through the early Chapters, and since Chapters give so much OP, you can replenish your stock pretty quickly. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, just be aware that OP is a rather prized commodity, since it's used for pulls and skins as well as sanity refreshes.

Same men, I play the game when it was released 3 or 2 months ago, so I been play for 2 years or close to 3, and just today I turned 93, I must say I'm slow. But most of the time im just trying to build silverash and Ansel a perfect harem team. Edit: I already have my main team, is just the potential, Master skill, and the module, that I need for my main team. Only vigna and firewatch are max out to its fullest potential. The rest is either that the module hasn't come out for them or the skill is hard to get the material, or to get their token.

I've got 3 great tips for new players from personal experience: Best tip I can give; the game becomes more fun to play the longer you stick with it. Unlocking more ops gives you more options on how to tackle the stages and over time you start to see strategies you didn't think were possible. Second tip; the AK community is one of the best communities I've ever been part of. Loads of content creators like Kukki here who has a great understanding of the game and always offers great insight into everything AK related. Helpful vids like this one, funny vids, stage guides, operator showcases, helpful comment sections on YT vids, greatly build wiki and other tools (Aceship toolbox for AK) to help new and veteran players. Third tip; everything this game offers in a limited time window comes back eventually. There is no real FOMO here. If you missed an operator or furniture piece or skin during a banner or a shop or stage clear, it comes back eventually. So if like me you have an OCD about incomplete collections; don't worry, this game has great devs!

That last tip though, very timely for me. I've been playing for less than a month when Break The Ice event was introduced, so now instead of farming to raise my average squad level, I'm now putting everything into E2ing one of my ops just so I can borrow elite 2 support units for to defeat Degenbrecher in BI-8. Got mw feeling a lil bit guilty ignoring my other ops for a while though, so Kukki saying to drop everything and focus on the event validated my rushed decision lmao

It's exactly 3months since I started this game and my account is currently at lvl65. I'm now entering "Mid-game" and I realized something. I'm currently experiencing the "meme" that I've been seeing every now and then in the community and that is ROCK FARMING! I can't wait to get all of the resources I need to e2 my Magallan just so I can farm at 1-7 much simpler and faster. lol

Been playing for around 3 months. Early game has been a bit messy since I was going around doing everything everywhere all at once. Just hit Lv.65 but there's still plenty to unpack so this guide is very much appreciated. Definitely learned my lesson to put max effort in long events.

Even though I've been playing the game for over 1.5 years, I'm still watching this. I remembered that I progressed slowly in the first 3 months and then proceed to fast it up because of CC#3 (Looking at you Sarkaz grudgebearer risk !!!). Now I sit with all of my 3* and 4* to E1 max level and skill level 7 and the rest of the 5* skill level 4 and E0 max level, almost all of my 6* at E2 level 40, and I've regret nothing. P.S. For new players you can read on gamepress for further explanations and watch Kukki's new player guide video, I consider this 2 to be where you can get the most of the game's info.

Really long overdue, but as a new player, I find that I benefitted a lot from trying out and learning all the meta operators from friend support, as well as a few roles that my team lacks, which helped me a lot in clearing stages. I decided at the end of Chapter 6 not to use supports for story, but it's still amazing to know how to use them in events and Integrated Strategies. In fact, I basically always use a borrowed Ling for IS. The operators I'd specifically recommend are: Ling, Chen Alter, Mlynar, (maybe SilverAsh? I already have him so idk), Eyjafjalla, Passenger (especially for Annihilation), Mountain (second skill), Mudrock (second skill). Ling is... Ling, if you have no good units, don't worry, Ling replaces your lousiest 6 with really good units. Mountain and Mudrock are good lane holders that are really easy to use. Passenger is great when you want to take down mobs in multiple lanes, because his Skill can hit enemies outside of his attack range The rest are insane at nuking. Multiple times. For a very long time (except Eyja). Niche but VERY good at their niche: Saga (when you get rushed down at the very start but also need SP), Phantom (for assassinations), Mudrock (skill 3, for massasinations), Lappland (for the exploding slugs), Pozemka (usually, other casters mentioned above, or Chen Alter, is better, but the Typewriter she gives you is potentially invaluable) Specific to game modes: Gnosis is a god-send for SSS. Kal'tsit is nice for IS to beat the first ending via her True damage, which the boss can't dodge, though I still find Ling to be better (especially alongside Deployment Limit increase). Elysium or Saileach on Skill 1 (hard to find people putting them on Skill 1 though) if you still haven't gotten good vanguards, in Annihlation.

i got so much information from your video in this series, really help a lot, also probably the currency talk in beginner video is the best out of it. i guess me reaching level 60 in 22 days of plays is kinda prematured lol, but i do burn more than 40 OP to farm and clear stage, the game is fun nonetheless, new chapter new enemies new mechanic to learn, the training help to get the basic mechanic, tips on loading screen also really helpful. starting above chapter 4, i always use the drill plan and some of those stage on chapter 5 and 6 are pure nasty, passing chap 6 boss with so much brain damage (lost all 30 drill plan in 2 days no matter what i bring lmao), got tips from friend to either kill her with strong sniper or just borrow ling and stall. and the dragon lady do the job. now im on 7-4, almost lost 30 drill, maybe ill try borrowing silverash later on. and yes, other than that since its harder to level up beyond lvl 40 so no free sanity refill :(, the IS does help to cure my boredom waiting the sanity recharge again, and its lot of fun ! (until floor 4 it is lol) , it also give lot of nice reward for early game

Thank you kukki for the guides! Just played Arknights literally December last year and I think I've made pretty good progress. I just E2'ed Kaltsit and Thorns, they make high chapter stage '6-10' less annoying, just Exu left to be E2 :). Though I only have those 3 meta 6* stars op at level 57, I should save some the golden certificate to buy some helpful 6* like SA / Mountain when they appears at the shop.

18 months for me with monthly cards and occasional refreshes. I was very efficient with my sanity after my 2nd month and stopped being that efficient after a couple of months after hitting 120. My understanding of efficiency with sanity is not capping sanity and farming only the most efficient stages.

The good thing is that the sanity and shop currency is proportional 1:1 if you complete the stage with 3*, so you will always know how much currency you will gain

I created an alt account during Mansfield Break rerun. Event store had everything to E2 courier in under 2 hours. Then just use max Chalter friend support to steamroll basically everything lol.

To promote ez 4* and use it to borrow an E2 from a friend, I recommend betweent Myrtle or Gravel, those are pretty good used in most every stage =))

I kinda wanted to get into this game since launch but couldn't do it multiple times due to different factors. So I've been downloading it when some cool events were on just to have a nice evening and then uninstalling. And now, when I finally have time to play it more frequently and enjoy it on a daily basis I have basically a fresh account with some limited ops as a gift. The only problem is that I have overcapped sanity at ~1089 and every time I log in it cracks me up just thinking about how long it will take to spend it all

Will there ever be a story & lore focused Arkpedia episode(s)? I know it isn't your forte, but considering the Anime is coming, I expect that is a topic many newcomers (and even old players) will get interested in around then. Things like, where to start or skip if the Anime does them better, the different free canon manga that Hypergryph put out (and sadly few know about, like Blacksteel's or Records of Origium with Rhine Labs). Or perhaps that would be better as a collaborative "something else" with other creators? Anyways, thanks for another great episode of your series! I have been recommending to many new players!

What I love playing Arknights is only yourself is to blame if you failed a stage. Giving you somehow motivation to grind and level-up the Operators you need. You can't blame the support units because you're the one who deploy it on the battlefield. It's a matter of Operator knowledge so you can finish the stage. 😁

Watching cuz despite being on 4 of the story, lvl 57 and having E2 Goldenglow I still can't survive any, IS, CC nor Annihilation 3. Wondering if I should finish the story first or grind some lmb, battle records and materials to boost some operators? I think I relied on those Low Level 3* Clear guides too much.

Haven't watched the vid fully But I wanna leave this here: If for some reason you are like me, having a difficult time getting E2 chips for certain class (failing to clear the stage with E1 ops) BORROW! that 13th op can save your ass. It's ok to manually clear the first few chips, then once you have your own E2, that should help with the other chip stages -> more E2 -> even easier clear

with the free ten pull ticket i decided to reroll my account, and now i have exusiai, pot 2 silverash, angelina, shining, and hoshiguma and they all came from the starter banner. my initial plan was to just get exusiai or silverash and then just wait for the ling banner so that i could do 2 ten pulls instead of 1, but now im not really sure if i should even pull for ling because 1. i dont like lee too much and 2. ling and her dragons deplete the majority of deployment slots, and then i cant use my other six stars that i got. i started playing a week ago on this new account and its kinda funny to already have more than 400k lmd just because of the break the ice event

Damn, after looking through the guide despite being already a level 70 player, I do notice that i have been lacking quite a lot of progress throughout the game. I could blame it on the time that I was quitting the game. But at the end of the day, that just mine bad management of resources and operator, E2 the one that having a lot of niches first was really a bad choice. Looking back now, being at this point was quite a struggle, but it was all fun and game. I hope there will be a lot more content in the future. I don't want to leave this game yet, but I came to a point where there is nothing much to do anymore. Sure pulling and leveling up op is fun, but clearly, most of the available content really makes the game seem there isn't anything more. Maybe stop caring about efficiency and sanity spending and just clear the game again, IDK, Can someone give me some fun way to keep up with the game?

I already followed most of these steps, but one of the only ones i didnt follow is the e2 ur 6* one. I didnt e2 my exu, but e2 my pinecone:). About to e2 my cutter:)

My regret was upgrading my HR and the Guest Room to the max at around Lv 60 70(?). I think I already tanked my LMD and Battle record because of that as early as that level. That made my progress slower I think since LMD is everything.

HR is 6 free 6* and guest room is free resources so I'd say no. I did those far sooner than 60, no regrets.
