It's gonna be great for old players but hell for new players. Talking from experience from other games. Load outs makes new players learn the bad habit of constantly switching the same set of artifacts on everyone. So they won't have multiple sets of artifacts when it matters. Ik this cuz this happened to me. Load outs are a bad bad idea.

I think weapons can be interesting when they encourage you to use characters you wouldn't otherwise use. Like a Redhorn Stonethresher makes (non-pyro) Xinyan and Noelle a lot more fun to play. So for a single five star weapon, I get two characters out of it, essentially. Of course, weapon banner still sucks, and the Stonethresher is a bit on an exception, in large part due to it addressing one of the things that really should be in Xinyan's kit.

I like nilou’s design because her restrictions balance her power level, and also incentivizes core production maximization which is super satisfying. But I do agree that without kokomi or nahida she is not as good and that makes her restrictive, but as we get more hydro and dendro units this problem should be less important

If anyone needed loadouts yesterday, Zajef would be that guy, wtfffffffff. I build all my characters and they each have their own personal artifacts and weapon. They are obviously watered down quality compared to his, but more than enough to clear 36 star. Constantly recreating the "correct" build from scratch off memory each time switching teams would drive me insane.

Ayato used to be one of the ones I'd give up before others, but then I remembered why I pulled him to begin with. His rhythm is just so fun and adaptive, his AoE so big, teams so various, and the man can use TF. One thing I feel kinda stupid about, though, I thought his Q would make for the sickest and comfiest AoE freeze team, and while I do like him a lot in freeze, I have several stronger options focusing on cryo dps and their OP set. Turns out freezing before they're tightly grouped is often a detriment... There's been a few cases it let me freeze a lawa before they shielded etc., though. He basically solves zero issues on my account, but I enjoy him and he gets most stuff done comfortably and consistently, I used to really underrate his national too.

I use him in my freeze team only tbh. Venti w allegy, rosaria fav and 4pc nobless, mona on prot amber r5 and 4pc ToM. Ayato Q> venti Q E> rosaria E Q> Mona Q E > Ayato E spam repeat. Solves all the problem you just mentioned. And nice thing is. Mona's Q doesn't pop for the entire rotation. You don't really need prototype amber either on Mona, thrilling tales also works fine. but it's nice against wolflords.

Zhongli is my favorite character. I guess I'm not exactly the target audience for him either because I do bother learning enemy attack patterns and theorycrafting. But idk, I just love his character I guess haha. Him and Nahida are pretty much the only 5* I'm willing to pull constellations for. Not necessarily because they're useful, but because I just like him that much and it gives me joy seeing him with constellations. I've dabbled with physical Zhongli in the past but nowadays my favorite team comp for him is microwave Zhongli. Don't ask me why, I just think it's fun haha

@@user-wf5jm2nc1h iirc it utilizes zhongli's pillar resonance damage with other geo constructs such as albedo's flower, itto's ushi, geomc's boulders, etc. usually you would build him with 2p petra/2p gladiators & preferably at c1 + homa. that's what i'm running on him since getting his c1 :) do correct me if i'm wrong though!

I recognize Zajef's knowledge and expertise when it comes to Genshin TC and I visit his account frequently to hear his opinion, however his idea of fun is really different from mine and therefore his account seems quite boring and dull for how I play and invest in carchaters.For example, Ganyu's charged attacks are a blast, and I mean literally, just seeing the damage it makes when melting is just fun on its own. Hu Tao's single target damage is great, still the best, when paired with XQ and now even Yelan. Or swirl with Kazuha/Tankfey. Zongli is not just when you don't know how to play. Zongli is pretty much required if you are using Ganyu for example, because how are you supposed to dodge while charg shooting? Cyno is definitely boring to me too, being a hyper carry-on-filed DPS with such a long burst. Being a TC I wonder how haven't he anticipated the playstyle?

i really liked watching your opinion on pulling for weapons. i’m an ayaka main and my friend has mentioned that i should go for mistsplitter when it comes back, and i was seriously considering it (not that i’ll have to worry about it any time soon lol). but i truly care way more about getting new characters. a shiny new weapon might make the numbers bigger, but getting a new character feels more exciting. i’ve been going back and forth on it for a while, and probably will continue to do so until another ayaka rerun happens, but it feels nice to hear that focusing first and foremost on getting more characters is a totally valid way to play.

Only weapon banner I ever pulled on was a pretty good one a while back, the only reason I did it was because I didn’t have a fav sword and I was incredibly desperate for one and it was rate up. I did manage to get lucky and I got one fav sword in about 50 pulls. It was worth it but I don’t recommend it, it definitely could have gone very bad very easily. The only other weapon banner I’m gonna pull on probably ever is the 3.4 phase two. Both aqua similacra and homa would be great for me and the four stars are good especially cuz there’s fav sword again and I still only have that one fav sword from before.

Eh I play mobile since I’ve started the game back in 2.3, I have zhong. I rarely use him outside of mono Geo and even outside of mono Geo I sometimes take him out. My phone is pretty strong so dodging is fine. I get ping spikes but it’s not enough to where I feel zhong is a necessity to me when I play the abyss.

Her kit looks like tank / damage reduction at this moment, with low scaling and no other utility Not sure if current content is suitable for her, but maybe in the future hyv can make a content where she shines or shadow-buff her using future characters/artifact

Her current burst dmg at C0 with BIS weapon with Bennet buff and Kazuha buff only does 27k max per punch, 10 punches in 4 seconds if u spam click your mouse, and with a 16secs cool down. During her burst, for each punch you do, you character moves forwards, meaning u will end up exiting Bennet burst radius, making so u can only benefit from Bennet buff for a few punches if the enemy moves around a lot or can be knocked around easily. So don’t expect 27k for all 10 punches, maybe around 5 to 6 punches. Her skill is basically pyro Albedo, gives on field character stagger resistance and pyro application enemy every 2.5 seconds, 12 seconds duration, so only 4 pyro application, making her incapable of fitting in burgeon team. She’s basically useless in current patch, but maybe useful in future

i took ur advice and i have three r1 fav swords and didnt refined it, now its so easy to cast burst a lot in many teams that uses 3 swords users. i have only r1 fav sword even after ar60 until last week i got two copies from standard banner and didnt refined it, as an f2p ar60 player it felt good getting copies of fav swords after 2 dayum years lmao.

5:34 and only on albedo so why did they have to lock both of his weapons behind events and never get them again making other players Albedo's weaker that players who joined in and got those weapons. they should rerun the events or have us use story keys to play the past events. there is so much content just thrown out for a 2 week event. newer players wont know who is albedo if you did not play early enough and can only go off his story quest. or who Mika is from the a couple of patches ago

Is there a relevant dmg difference between ADC Venti and 3xEM Venti?(if he's on elegy and a crowned burst) Is there any relevant scenario where one would be more useful over the other?

there's floor level & ceiling level on very high investment (high ceiling), ADC venti might be better, skyward harp, godroll artifact on low investment (high floor), 3xEM is better, windbloom ode / stringless, mainstat focus artifact the question is just "you want high invest on venti or not"

In a freeze team, you'd opt to use crit venti so he can utilize the cryo resonance crit rate buff but as well as the fact that swirls on freeze team isn't really a great dmg factor since they dont cause various reactions such as electrocharged or overload

It depends ADC - ADC is suitable for enemy with permanent aura. because you don’t get to choose element you want to absorb and these type of enemy tends to have immunity against that element. so your swirl won’t any do any damage. - ADC can be better at higher level of investment eg. you give him 5 stars weapon, you give him insane stat volume artifacts, you get constellations for him. but as Zajef always said, don’t spend money on this shit game. - ADC Venti can be pretty strong now with the recent released of Faruzan. which increase the ceiling quite a lot. EM - EM Build will always does more damage than ADC build at baseline and this is, without including chain reaction into account. people often underestimate how much damage swirl does (I don’t think I have to explain this since all of us here already knew the existence of ADC Kazuha) - With the release of Dendro, Venti now can do aggravate swirl. which does a fuck ton of damage. this is what close the ceiling gaps between EM build and ADC build. - very cheap to build. high floor low ceiling.

The refiment thing is very real That's why most of my weapons are at R1 because I am afraid of the day where I would have to use it on 2 or more characters LOL And what doesn't help that is that my luck with fav is very.... yeah I only have one fav sword and one fav polearm and two fav bows 4 fav greaswords and catalysts(even though I don't use them)
