3:18 The Welkin Moon item is an official item. Among the many events and giveaways Hoyolab does, every genshin anniversary, they have a welkin giveaway where 10% of participants get a welkin and the remaining 90% get 100k mora. The welkin is sent by in-game mail as an item. So, if you never use it, you can keep it in your inventory as a cool keepsake. Since my luck is terrible, I've only ever gotten 100k mora the 2 anniversaries I've participated 😂

One thing I like about this game is how beginner friendly it is. As you said you don't really need to think of min maxing or building different teams till you are really high ranked player. True. Genshin focus on story and the events are also wholesome light hearted and I love it. HSR on the other hand is exact opposite. Its focusses on combat and little to no focus on story. I didn't feel welcome there. Its so much to take in you need more than 8 characters built asap to get every reward possible and since hsr has no exploration these combat events is only thing that gives you sheet.

I 100% agree with battle pass being lower bang for buck at high AR. My account is very similar to this guys. I have 1220 days active and have only bought welkin + BP since 1.0. Im sitting on 90 million Mora, 5000 hero's wits, 9900 adventures experience, 9999 Mystic enhancement ores, 9999 fine enhancement ores (with 3/4 off all unique 4star weapons lv 90 just to drain them after capping). I dont farm leylines at all unless double drop event. The only value for me is the pulls, primogems, resin, and weapon.

Nov 2023 35 star was 4.2 Abyss. They didn't pull Neuv, so wasn't able to toggle easy mode with double hydro on both sides vs. pyro lectors top and single target bottom. Looks like they figured it out in the end with the later iterations of that cycle though.

I spent 2 years/120k resin on my C3 Raiden in emblem. My akasha ratings are: #6 xiangling (top 100 in over half the categories) - I dont even use her #31 Xingqui #49 Shim Melt ganyu #356 Yelan #451 Shim Hu tao #25477 Raiden - Highest rated bracket Ive given up on emblem. Not a single 40CV piece in 120k resin, from emblem, except 1 atk% goblet.

og 4* are built different and still can compete on 5* units, new 4* on other hand are built broken and only gets fix with their cons or future units

Ive been wanting to start farming for more and better emblem pieces cause its such a good set for so many units, But ive spent like the past 2 weeks farming Nahida's set and just am not getting lucky there. just none stop terrible pieces. Ive at least got a fairly optimal team to farm Deepwood Memories and the team is pretty decently useable for Emblems domain as well :D Cant wait to finally be done with Deepwood so i can get Emblem pieces :D. Then after that i need to farm Marechaussee Hunter for Neuvillette and more Golden Troupe :D Are there any other domains that are really good value with both main gear sets that are great?

I'm not an expert on artifacts at all, but I do know that Marechaussee and Deepwood are the top 2 domains where both artifact sets are usable on a ton of characters - all other domains depend on if you have a character that can optimally use either of the sets - so I'm building Wanderer and Desert Pavillion is usually his BIS and the other set, Flower of Paradise Lost is great for a hyperbloom trigger like Kuki - HOWEVER..... Marechaussee & Golden Troupe are so good they are the new BIS or close to BIS for so many characters that is is the most resin efficient domain (The Genshin Scientist just did a video comparing the dmg for each character). So now Marechaussee is better on Wanderer than Desert Pavillion - but not if hp fluctuation isn't present (Furina) or if you already have a decent DPC set. Thundering Fury on Cyno is only 2% better than Marechaussee (with Furina), same with Cryo DPS like Ayaka/Wriothesley so you don't need to farm Blizzard Strayer - of course not every team can have Furina (unless a future character has similar hp drain mechanic). And Golden Troupe is perfect for an off field character who is used mainly for their skill (like fischl, Yae Miko) A good exception would be farming the VV domain if you have multiple anemo characters, or your Kazuha/Venti/Sucrose needs EM on every main stat (hard to get), is way better than relying on strongbox, even though the other set, Maiden Beloved is not ideal for anyone (although if you need more healing it can be useful) - and I've got a couple cracked pieces from that set that I can use as an off piece

Marachuse is hands down the best domain you can farm. One of the two worls great on 90% of the roster. Plus emblem is in strongbox right now .

I've been playing just under a year, AR 58 (Dehya was my first 5* lol) and your account reviews make me realize some of my artifacts are better than I thought - and also gives me inspiration to farm for better ones for sets I don't have (like emblem lol sorry). I'd LOVE a video going over goal base stats for each character, could do 5* and 4* separately but just a general goal to aim for because not everyone has the same weapons/artifacts. Also for braindead people like me who had 90% crit rate on Neuvillette because I forgot his artifacts give him extra 36% (facepalm ha ha) - being reminded of how certain character's kits reduce the amt of stats you need would be so useful but maybe that's just me

i really think i should get an account review cause ive only been playing for 14 months and i have top 1% raiden, xiangling, furina, nahida (rank 1), childe, yae, and a few more no 🧢 welkin + bp. i rarely pull or build new characters since the beginning and i admittedly do 1 resin refresh per day. still, i think my artifact luck is good compared to these older player with ok builds

conclusion: a low spender / dolphin like me (welkin, BP each month, yearly resets, spending 100 bucks when I really want a character / weapon, which all around each 3/4 patches) has the value of 3 years of low spending. I only started in 2.8

EDIT: just the numbers of artifacts vary a bit, as for Akasha, I only have 7 characters under the 10 best %, while he got 11, and also other impressive builds. But he minmax'ed ressources letting a lot character at 80, which is respectable

It was one of the earliest events and Dragonspine region was pretty difficult if you weren't leveled properly, so they probably just weren't able to finish everything.

Play in your own pace, enjoy game the way you want, this game is not PoE where every update add a new mechanics, Genshin updates is just more map and quests. I myself started playing 1 month after 4.0, AR 55 rn, in Sumeru, my only 5* stars are Dehya and Deluc(lvl 20), and I don't have any problemes with content in the game playing only with what std banner free wishes gave me (still waiting for reruns of fav characters).

Diluc with Xianyun would carry you, I'd advice saving for Furina if you want this pair to be more powerful
