• Accounting for Beginne... BEST ACCOUNTING PLAYLIST ON KZbin !!!!!!!!
This is a great Accounting tutorial for the Basics of Accounting for beginners. The easiest way to keeps debits and credits, and Assets = Liabilities + Equity ( Accounting Equation) straight. This is how i passed the CPA Exam to become a licensed CPA in the State of Florida. You can use the information in the video on your first day of Accounting class all the way tho being a CPA. Debits, Credits, Assets, Draw, Expenses, Liabilities, Equity, Revenue. This video has a very basic example and can be used in the most advanced situations. Learn Debits and Credits and the basic accounting equation which is assets = liabilities + equity. This will also help with the income statement which is Revenues - Expenses. I hope you enjoy the video. In this video i go over journal entries. Get your tips here in this accounting for beginners video. There is also information on the balance sheet here in this video. I also go over Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Depreciation, Accumulated Depreciation, Putting Assets on the books, Fifo and Lifo Inventory Valuation, and so much more in this series for beginners.

I will add that many folks confuse accounting with “counting” or math in general. Let’s get one thing straight, you don’t have to be good at math to succeed in accounting. We rely on calculators and Excel sheets to do the math :)

But accounting is 1000 times harder than math. You need to have Godlike memory to apply tons of GAAP, SFAS , IFRS, auditing standards and more accounting rules to solve a problem.

Hey everyone who is in the comments section. I made this video over 3 years ago. And while the information is still the same. This was one of my first videos i ever made and a bit cringy. I had about 100 subscribers and 10 videos when i made this video. October 2018 im closing in on 70k subscribers and 350 videos. DC ADE LER has helped thousands of people with Accounting in the past 3 years. I say all this to possibly give some of my later accounting videos a chance for less cringe.

Dear Jonathan, I got the accounting exam back today and it was 97%!!! I still can't believe what I just achieved. This was my very first time to study finance subject and also study abroad, which means doing accounting in English was incredibly challenging to me. You not only saved my life, but also gave me confidence and taught me how important to go block by block. I am so lucky to have a teacher like you. Thank you sooo much Jonathan!! DCADELER forever!!!

Hey man, I just want to let you know how much I appreciate these videos! I just got my first job out of college working for Federal Government in bank regulation, and I hardly took any accounting in college. I have to pass this scary accounting assessment and your videos have helped me out soooooooo much! These helped me more than the books, studying, and professional accountants they brought in to teach us. You saved my bank account, job, income, but perhaps more than anything you gave society a much better federal regulator. People put a lot of trust in banks; they put a lot of money in there. Because of you, citizens can be more confident they got a qualified government worker keeping their money safe. I appreciate the energy, humor (especially the reoccurring "ya boys gettin jacked"), and helpfulness. Even the inspirational stuff you put in there helps me get through the day. Keep up the good work man, you're a hero!

Thanks so much for sharing this. My brother is an accountant, and he graduated from Delaware State U. Also Temple. My other brother two colleges also for accounting/business, and my sister as well but for Psychology. I'm the youngest, and I am the one who's been more of the innovator, and who has never gone to college, but even as an innovator, there's a business side to it. I just searched "how to do accounting" just to see if people really teach like colleges do, and to overcome my fear of college courses. I've been intimidated since I didn't do well in high school. But that was years ago. You're video helped me see that college might not be so scary after all. Even when it comes to something major like Accounting. I think the teacher makes a big difference when it comes to learning anything. Bad teaching affected my learning growing up. You're teaching was so easy, bro, I appreciate you! You did a great job!!!!

For anyone taking Intro to Accounting (aka Principles of Accounting, Accounting Foundations, etc.), this is the best playlist on the Internet. I had a hell of a bad time with my book but CPA Strength and #DCADELER was what made it all click. I went from an accounting hater to passing the class to now considering getting a CPA license. Strength's grasp on the value of redundant communications (ie making sure everyone remembers DCADELER and accrued = no cash) is right up there with the best profs I've had in any subject. 13/10.

I just wanted to say that I watched so many of your videos and I appreciate all the time you put into these videos. I really struggle with accounting and had so many of the same issues that you mentioned you had early on. My teachers made no sense and I was about to give up. You make sense and teach very well! Thank you so much. When I pass, it will be because of these videos.

I think this maybe the 1st or, at most, 2nd post I've ever posted publicly on KZbin. I just wanted to tell you, in all sincerity, thank you for taking time out of your day/life to create these videos. Because of you, and specifically you're style of teaching --easy to understand, small, digestible chunks of information, your candor with your own learning setbacks--with zero accounting experience, I was able to pass my college accounting class in 2 days!!! DC-ADE-LER for life, lol. Thanks brother for doing what you're doing and keep up the great work!

You are AWESOME! I really like the way you explain things... I learned by remembering this phrase, I am in AWE of debits and CLR (clear) on credits. I’ve written your way down as well. Thank you... those things are definitely a lifesaver in the accounting world!
