I thought the child tax credit was non refundable

That is correct, Child Tax Credit (CTC) and Other Dependents Credit (ODC) are both non refundable. The Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) is refundable.

Hi, We recently heard about child tax credit during pandemic other than that we didnot know about it, that mean we never received any child tax credit for our kid who is teenager. Until pandemic. Are we still eligible for apply for child tax credit the years we have missed? Thanks you in advance
