Hi Agnes. What a lovely video 🎉 I love granny stitch, so easy😊 but so affective. I learnt crochet when I was 9. Now 71 and still love it. I started with knitting when I was 5, but if you drop a stitch, it can be a real time consuming job to correct. But crochet, usually only 1 stitch on the hook. Yes. With dk yarn in UK, cat. 3 in U.S.A. I use 4.5 hook, which is 1 step up from recommended 4mm. You could start with 4mm, and move up to 4.5 if it still seems tight. 😊 Caz
