Mine is coming today. There are lots of plus points on this system. Edit, I spent all afternoon testing it. I primarily needed it to be able to go outside when the receiver was inside. I would walk 10 metres up my garden with one wall in between, and it would lose signal. Tried different resolutions etc and bitrate, it's not for me its going back I'm afraid. Big shame it was no better than my Teradeck Ace 500 for stability. Unless I have a dud unit.

I just ordered this... But, how do you wire this up to be the most efficient/fastest with minimal latency delay? My camera has HDMI, but I also cine cameras sometimes that have SDI too. I also always have an external monitor - it has both HDMI & SDI loops. Should I connect camera to transmitter and then loop out to monitor? - this can only be done over HDMI as there's no SDI loop. Or should I go camera to monitor and loop to transmitter? I'm trying to see how I should connect it. Or, if I should consider returning it and getting another model.

Extending camera wifi is not documented and not a feature and is not supported. You can do this with older Cineview and any Hollyland as well. A wifi network is a wifi network.
@philipbloomАй бұрын
@@MojoPapiFPV what are you talking about? I LITERALLY show the feature! How can you say it’s not supported?? They told me about it and they’ve seen and approved the video. What the F is a” a wifi network is a WiFi network” supposed to mean. Unbelievable comment.
@MojoPapiFPVАй бұрын
@ it’s not in the manual. I have emails from them about this exact conversation and they said they had no idea people were doing this.
@philipbloomАй бұрын
@ so the fact I did this means nothing to you? Is visual proof not enough for you? I am in direct contact with the owner of Accsoon and the product manager. Your comment also contradicts itself. You say it’s not supported or documented but then said you CAN do this with older Cineview and Hollyland “as well”. “As well”? You just said it wasn’t supported so which is it? I don’t see why most WiFi based systems can’t do the same. The camera uses them as an access point then the camera is on that strong network. It makes total sense. I don’t know what else to say to you. If you don’t believe me then fine. If you end up getting one then try it and see how wrong you are.
@MojoPapiFPVАй бұрын
@@philipbloom Philip I don't get why you're so worked up. IM ON YOUR SIDE. I love this product line and use it professionally all the time thanks to your CineEye 2 review. I've talked to Accsoon via email to expand the wireless functionality so that it can extend existing networks. What I'm saying is that they had no idea anyone was using their product this way and wanted to know more. There are TONS of us using it as dual-purpose VTX/RX and also a WAP, but it was never a design consideration for them so this is why it's not an official marketed functionality. It never shows up in the manuals and they never talk about it, but its incredibly useful because all of these units including CineEye 2, SE, HE and the Hollylands ALL inherently do this since they're all serving up wireless networks and handing out DHCP addresses. A wifi network is a wifi network so when you fire this thing up you can also leverage that like any other, but it's not exclusive to the new Master 4K. They all do this. But keep in mind that depending on how you do use that networks it will impact performance and delay times if that's an issue (it is not in my application - not using for pulling focus). There's a few thousand of us that use it this way for niche photo industry use where we use these units to extend our MacBook Pro displays to remote monitors on set. Again, they had no idea of this use case. Wish I was in your position to have a bit more of an in with them because there is some serious untapped potential on the wifi side that would require very little on the firmware side - but it just isn't their target audience. The other thing is we're seeing the new 4K Master getting considerably hotter than the other units even with the fan at max setting and have some concerns about how it will survive our hot and humid tropical summers. I usually make sure the TX and RX are under a tent or floppy but sometimes it's more run and gun and we can't do that. This is a first gen of this design and the first one I've seen of its kind to have exhaust ports like that so I they were definitely aware of this. These products never launch in the summer though so we can't exactly put them through hell before buying into the ecosystem.

@@philipbloom It really means something. As Sony keeps updating M&C app, the function of remote control, playback (no audio) and multi-cam monitoring has been added and improved. We can do these by pairing a phone or tablet to the camera and 90% of the time shows 22-26fps within short distance. It's an easy solution for the gimbal work without mounting any further accessory but a mobile clamp only. In addition, by switching on the mobile's hotspot, it allows the laptop runs Imaging Edge Desktop after pairing the camera via hotspot. But most of the time shows 14-22 fps. Alternatively, Airplay is a quick connection to playback on MacBook's larger screen in some cases (Accsoon See app on desktop is buggy). F.Y.R., FX3, iPhone 13, MBP M1 Max @MojoPapiFPV However, the Accsoon gives a better AP mode to extend the WiFi range and enhance the stability. It is not an exciting game changer vibe, but it is changing something. So far, we can find YT videos show multi-cam monitoring on an iPad's M&C app, some of them connects the camera and iPad directly and someone use a router. The fps from 4 cameras is around 5-9 only. So what if Accsoon can perform higher frame rate? What if DJI SDR can do the same thing with longer distance? What if Sony updates M&C app with better playback? What if a coming-up firmware (or camera) gives 25fps by WiFi constantly? This development is realistic. Rigging the lightweight SDR at the back of the camera and connect to the mobile device wirelessly, it is easy to switch between in tripod mode, gimbal mode, rigging the camera on the ceiling, flexible set up cameras in variety show. This is practical. Indeed, the image quality comes from camera's Wifi is not good as HDMI transmission. But in some cases, quick set up, adjustments and control is the priority. In another word, it makes sense that Accsoon and other transmitter manufacturers do not talk about it. They are focusing and competing the image quality, signal stability and longer distance in wireless transmission.
