Nice review, I was lucky with 55005 and no parts adrift. Little tip, put all the lights on then start the engines, think you'll like what happens to the lights 😀

Hi, I think your video is the first one I've seen supplied by someone other than Accurascale. Mine suffered with the very same corner footstep adrift, that's all though. I even escaped the glue on the wheels! Anyway, a great video, and thanks. Going to add a subscription to your channel. Thanks again, best wishes Dave.

It does seem the wheel issue has happened to at least one other, I did wonder at first why it sounded like it had wheel flats, thanks for subbing 👍

Managed to get my hands on D9009, and saw the real one at the Valley today. Oh my, what a sound. It’s impossible to replicate the awesome rumble of a Deltic

I’ve got a 92 on order as it fits in nicely for traffic to Dollands Moor 👍🏾

Hi, Your dad put up a link to you so here I am and liked this so have subbed and I have I think just bought one of the last sound 55s from Accurascale but not the same as yours all sold out a very long time ago but as I have a Train Set I can get whatever I like so when and if I get it soon!!!!! will do a video on it to show what state it arrived in. Hope you are keeping well and enjoy running that Deltic and can we see it with some coaches please. Cheers Robert.

Thanks Robert, I have gotten some maroon mk1s onto the layout now so I'm sure Andy will get around to making a video featuring them and the Deltic running!

Do the dentist come with headboards or do you have to buy them separately

Is the headcode optional?

The announcements are too contemporary in accent for a green era Deltic. There would still have been a more RP tone over big station public address back in the early 60s.

You only have the EM1 speaker in the Deltic did you not have any problems with your chains The speaker is £12.46 and the sound decoder is £83.33 Plus taxes ATB Bernie
@TheSpanishInquisition2 жыл бұрын
Apologies, I was under the impression there were two speakers, very impressive it's only one in that case. I've had no issues with the chains over the past few weeks I've been running it on the layout

@@TheSpanishInquisition I got another one the other day to make it six and I was watching it and I saw the chain come off

Check your chains as three of mine fell off

That was one of the first things I checked getting it out of the box as I've had plenty of cautionary tales about them read to me by my dad!
