Kratos is definitely S tier, no doubt. Why? Because not just he was the first guest, fit perfectly within MK verse, BUT ALSO BECAUSE HE IS THE ONLY GUEST CHARACTER THAT COME WITH HIS OWN EXCLUSIVE STAGE! Man I really hate that NRS doesn't do that anymore to all of their guest character in MK after that. I mean c'mon it will be cool to get Boiler Room for Freddy, Camp Crystal Lake for Jason, Predator's Spaceship for Predator, Sawyer's House for Leatherface, Alien's Nest for Alien, Skynet Apocalypse Future for Terminator, Gotham City for Joker and of course a freaking Hell for Spawn! I love how Namco Bandai give each of their guest character come along with their exclusive stage.

I think it was more of the way they utilized the characters iconic traits in moves. MKX Jason only used machete in the bad variation when it was such an iconic thing to the character. Same thing with Terminators EndoSkeleton variation in MK11. It feels like they weren’t done justice when the things that make them unique are used poorly when transferred to a game.

I think spawn should’ve been an S Tier character. He was so hyped up by the community and so many more people wanted him than the turtles. And then the original voice actor made Spawn so complete. Merged Zamasu I’d say mk11 is the opposite of what you said in terms of gameplay, mostly what you see in the game is down one, yes that’s right, down one is mostly the gameplay i see every time I go online, and I’m a terminator user who freaking destroys online, so weird matchmaking. The gameplay is fine because of this not going so fast like mkx or injustice but it feels super slow and the combos feel off as well when doing them, but that’s your personal opinion.

The Predators created the Aliens in the first place as a specie to be hunted down by the 'Young bloods' so they can rove themselves that they are worthy Yuatja's on the field. So in a short Summary, Aliens are like punching bags for practice within the nether realm because they don't respect the combat.

I kinda feel like people hating on Terminator for NO REASON. The fact he uses his guns exactly like he does in the movies is a real charm (e.x The way he reloads his shotgun with one hand is the EXACT same way he does In Terminator 2: Judgement Day). Also if you actually took time to look through his skins and not just look at his two variations then you would know he does have young Arnold. In fact his skins are divided into Old Arnold and Young Arnold. And for those complaining that young Arnold doesn’t look exactly like the one from the movies, ITS A GOD DAMN GAME! I think they will but they'll take up 1 slot instead of 2. Kind of like TMNT in injustice 2 but a more advanced version of that. They each would have their own separate movesets, intros, gear, skins, fatal blows and fatalities so it wouldn't be like triborg at all. This could also explain why there're 11 more characters to be added in the next 2 Kombat packs (referring to the recent leaks) rather than 12 because Cyrax and Sektor could take up 1 slot even though they're 2 separate characters.

I’d shift the MK Characters that appeared in Injustice. Scorpion is good where he is, he’s just sort of there. Sub Zero is great, I’d move him up a tier or two. And I think Raiden should be moved down to maybe D tier. Just because of the fact that (like you said with Alien) it should’ve been a character from that franchise. we didn’t need two mortal kombat characters in injustice, and like you said, his move set kinda sucked and his gear was horrible. The only place he really succeeded was in his Super.

I kinda get why Freddy was the Jackie Earle Haley Freddy and not Robert Englund Freddy. The remake did come out the previous year in 2010, so it makes sense for WB at the time to want to continue pushing that version of Freddy. In a way, NetherRealm kind of made up for this by having Robert Englund voice Scarecrow in Injustice 2.
