If doing it from a photo how do you compensate for lens distortion on high buildings?

This is a question I hadn't considered! I think broadly if I have a very tall building, I like having a lot of sky above it, so the photo needs to have been taken from some distance back meaning minimal lens distortion so it's not really something I've conciously problem solved!
