Thank you very much, Lisa. I have been watching your videos for nearly a year, which is of great help to my English studies. By the way, would you mind explaining which types of grammatical structure is used in "the most important being the" in "There have been many technological advances in recent years, the most important being the spread of the internet". I am not sure whether or not it is a reduced relative clause that I have learnt so far. Should we use " with" before "the most important"? Looking forward to your response. Thank you ver much in advance

As opposed to the verb persuade, convince is not followed by an infinitive. it usually precedes a that close. "Convince of sth" is also possible.

Thank you Lisah, but I personally don't prefer multiple choices. From my side as a foreigner all look same to me, and the possibility is high that a wrong one stick on my brain or I remember the wrong one when I want to use it as it is familiar to me. Again thank you. I have learnt alot from your vedieos. Keep it on ❤

Yes, "talk into" is a phrasal verb that has a very similar meaning as "to bring someone around". The slight difference is that "to bring around" doesn't necessarily imply only talking.

Hello, i know there is a schwa before N in the word seven [ˈsɛvən] and a schwa before M in the word bottom /ˈbɑtəm/. - the question is there a sound schwa /ə/ before N as in the words (tone /toʊn/ = /toʊən/ and son /sʌn/ = /sʌən/) and before the consonant M as in mom /mɑm/ = /mɑəm/ gym /d͡ʒɪm/ = /d͡ʒɪəm/) I mean the sound schwa not written schwa. Or the fast schwa when the tongue move to N and M sound . if yes is that because the M and N syllabic. . please. Have a great day.
