"A Whole Lotta Rosie" is a classic rock song by the Australian rock band AC/DC. It was released in 1977 as a part of their album "Let There Be Rock." The song is known for its energetic and powerful riff, and it has become one of AC/DC's signature tracks.
The lyrics of "A Whole Lotta Rosie" are about a larger-than-life, voluptuous woman named Rosie who is the object of the singer's affection. The song's lyrics are filled with humorous and suggestive references, and it's often considered a rock anthem due to its catchy melody and hard-rocking sound.
AC/DC has performed "A Whole Lotta Rosie" at many of their concerts over the years, and it remains a fan favorite. The band's dynamic live performances have contributed to the song's enduring popularity.

Angus may not be one the most technical players, but he is by far the most energetic. In his prime he was running around the stage and just giving it 100%. He was by far the most exciting player to watch. Angus always went out to put on a show and make sure the audience got their moneys worth.

I was lucky enough to see AC/DC at the Whisky a Go Go nightclub in August 1977 on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, a small club that barely held 500 people. I was about 2 feet in front of the stage! Angus jumped up on the balcony and walked along the thin parapet playing a solo. This song Whole Lotta Rosie was in their playlist that night!!! Glad you guys appreciated it! AC/DC will always be in a realm all their own.

My wife and I went and saw AC/DC and literally couldn’t hear for two days and I will tell you this the sweat that was literally pouring off of Angus proved to me that he put more into his performance than any professional athlete. It was just an incredible show. As for another guitarist to check out is Terry Kath from Chicago. Jimmy Hendrix said Terry was better than him. 25 6 or 4 live at Tangelwood give it a listen.

OK, so we have the biggest blow-up doll on earth, the greatest rock band who ever lived, in front of the greatest rock audience in the history of concerts and that's why you have absolute perfection. I love how they got 'Rosie's' feet tap along with the music, that was so damned cool! The guys were in their 60's when they played this gig back in 2009 and sadly Malcolm Young has since sadly passed away RIP.

You know, Fenom, I'm with you 100%. I've never played an instrument before, but I know what I like and, while I like a lot of guitarists, Angus' guitar-playing just sounds different to me. I don't know whether it's the rhythm of their songs or perhaps the speed at which he plays, but I know his guitar sounds fantastic. And it certainly doesn't hurt that, running around bare-chested, he puts every bit of energy he has into their music and looks like he's having a great time doing it. And it also helps that the other members of the band are absolute masters of their craft and their lyrics and music are fire. And RIP Angus' brother Malcolm, of whom Angus said "GOAT? I'm not even the best guitarist in my own family". I'm not sure I'd want them as best buds, though. You do something you're not too proud of with a lady and the next thing you know, these boys are singing a crazy-assed song about it!

Ok, re - the Slash comment. I was working in Vegas in 1994 and this guy calls me to his table at a club. I was a waitress at a "gentleman's club" and he buys me a drink and tells me he is with this band called Slash's Snake Pit -and asks me if I know any girls who want to come to the show or hang out. He was actually a really nice guy, not creepy. I said, Oh so do you work with the band or play in the band? - He says.. "I'm Slash." 🤣🤣🤣 To be fair he was wearing a baseball cap and while I knew songs by Guns N Roses I didn't follow them overly. I caught hell from all my friends for that for a long time. Later on Slash and Duff and their drummer played at Johnny Depp's bar The Viper Room in LA (I was living out there) and Matt Sorum and I used to kinda hang out at the gigs because I didn't really drink and they were all on the wagon. Super nice guys - very very normal and down to earth. So anyway, I have a far more embarrassing story than the gentleman who mixed up Slash and Axel. Great reaction as ALWAYS

Great song, saw them many times in the UK in the seventies but this one was far beter with Bon singing it, the same as I couldn't imagine Bon singing "Thunderstruck"?

Stevie Ray Vaughan- need to do Texas Flood when he live at El Macambo for the A1+++ blues guitarist ever (also check out Tin Pan Alley when he does it with Johnny Copeland. For pure musical tones and riffs you never knew a guitar could do, out Eddie Van Halen eruption solo.
