Another good tutorial Adam, very clear and concise

I have been using ACDSee for a few years. A wonderful software. It is the very simple and viewer-friendly explanation provided by Adam (and his approach) that makes these vids marvelous. Keep up the great work Adam. Regards.

It would be good to label this as for Ultimate version only.

Thanks for this tutorial! Would it be possible to make a short video about exposure blending (eg. foreground-sky), using multiple images?

I certainly can.

Very nice short tutorial. I like it better than the (very) long workshops. I support the question of a short video about blending. 😀

All relevant information and very helpful, but probably could have been done in half the time with no loss of usefulness.

Ever the challenge. Thanks either way Al!

@@ACDSeePhotoStudio I watched this again. Still useful and I created the "Showcase" drinking game. Now I'm hammered and educated ;-)

Great as far as it goes, but how do I invert the brush to brush out a portion of a mask I have already created? I have been searching for days for an answer to this question. In Affinity and PS just clicking and holding Alt temporarily inverts the brush. Doesn't work in ACDSee - nothing seems to. The colour palette (top right) doesn't have a selected foreground/background colour item either. Using Studio Ultimate 2024.

If you paint over your mask with the brush and the white color selected, then you'll be able to brush out parts of your already created masks. The inverse happens when you select the brush + black.

I am a little embarrassed. I really want to learn more about using masks. In this tutorial I got stuck from the beginning....I could not bring up the foreground/background color picker (black and white) when having active the brush tool. I was stumped, I could not find any kind of help on the function and I thought I may reach out to you to become enlightened.
