is the coil just the same as on a new ace 250?,6.5x9,was thinking of buying the 300i and putting the 8.5x11 2D coil on it,think that would make it an awesome machine,i have the 8.5x11 coil on my ace 250.what do you think?

How good is this particular machine for detecting gold ? There are some old gold fields 30mins away from where I live and I don't want to pay $1000 s for a machine.. This machine retails here for $499.00 Is it up for the job , or is it mainly a coin , treasure detector... thanks t.c

When is this available in Germany?

+Bern J The distributor in Germany has been shipped some of the ACE 300i. Check with your dealer to see how many they have. More will be available in the next week or two.

hmm - so what's the difference between 300i and lets say the 400 ?
@Garrett_metaldetectors8 жыл бұрын
+Briggz30 The 300 and 300i do not have Iron Audio like the 400 and 400i. The 300 and 300i have a 7x10 concentric coil and the 400 and 400i have a 8.5x11 DD coil. Other differences are: Redivision of mid-tone/high-tone audio break points.Increased number of Iron Discrim pixels. (400i) U.S. coins removed from target legend. (300i, 400i)Variance in Mode/Discrim patterns

ahh i see - thx for the quick reply - sounds like the 400 is all around a bit better . another quick question - can the 400's coil get wet ? meaning can i take it in shallow streams ect ?
@Garrett_metaldetectors8 жыл бұрын
+Briggz30 All coils on all Garrett detectors can be submerged in water. The only detectors that can have the control boxes in water are the AT Pro, AT Gold, ATX and Sea Hunter.
