10” is big! The size chart is super helpful. I’ve been interested in trying Aces and now I know what to look for.

@@JohnKirk thanks for the comment- I know, 10 is pretty large. It looks like I go up a quarter inch for every 5 years, at this stage.

@@TheSoreLosersShow when I started again a few years ago I went directly to a 9”+ board. I’m pretty set on an 8.5 right now with loose trucks. You’re a much better skater than I am though and I skate mostly the local park bowels.

@@JohnKirk thanks man, but as long as you’re having fun and riding what you enjoy, you’re just as good at skating as anyone else.

Oh that's kewl! I've been riding the regular Hards when I've been riding Aces and they are definitely much easier for me to ride than the stock ones. Will be interesting to see how these fare because I'll definitely be trying a pair. Really like Aces but generally just a bit too unstable for me even with the Hards.

@@RikRiorik thanks for the comment. Yep, Ace trucks are designed to be a little loose, even when riding hard bushings or tightening down to the max on medium bushings. I’ll definitely keep you and everyone else posted on how the bushings ride and release dates on anything new…if I’m lucky enough to get the information.🤙

@@TheSoreLosersShow Well it is the thing that makes me like Aces. The looseness and the smooth turn. But again when trying to pop I just feel a little too wiggly. But I'm still not giving up on them. Ventures and Aces for me with a little jack of all trades Indy thrown in for good measure 🤣

Those Ace prototype bushings look pretty cool. If you find that you need even more fine tuning after riding them for a while, you might give RipTide bushings a try. I have been riding them in my AF1s for over two years and they work great.

When are they coming out? Can't find them on their website. Great video, cheers 🍻

I’m assuming you mean the bushings? Like I said, not sure on release or even the exact duro. I can say that the ones I’m riding are really good and I’m looking forward to switching from Bones bushings as soon as Ace release them. Cheers for the question!!✌️

@@TheSoreLosersShow I meant the af1 80 Hollow trucks. I only see the standards on their website.

@@TheSoreLosersShow cool, thanks. I will look for them. I'm in Denmark. I like Ace and skate wide decks. Testing some Thunder 181's ATM. They weigh around the same 410 grams if I remember correctly.
