Edgeworth wasted the question badly, although he was right to object that part. You see, Dahlia stated she saw gasses IN the room, which at this far doesn't seem as an important fact... UNLESS you tie it with another piece of statement she did. Edgeworth asked her about what she heard back then, and she clearly stated that she heard a glass breaking AFTER the shot, which means the window was broken AFTER the murder, from outside to inside, or so it seems. It is clearly not hard to throw some glass pieces in matter of seconds from outside to inside. Moreover, the fact that this happened changes everything, because Emma had to open the door to that murderer that killed her in a friendly manner, or maybe the murderer was with her at the time she drank too much, and so he or she took her place and shot her, leaving through the window and throwing some glasses in order to simulate that the killer came through the window. He could not shoot through a closed window since Dahlia heard the glass, which no normal person can hear at the same time as a gunshot. If the hole in the glass was too small for a person, that only leaves the fact that the gun was shot through the window, breaking it and throwing the glasses in the room. And here it is, the contradiction. She heard a glass that could not been heard of because of the gunshot. Moreover being dazed. Possible outcomes: -Dahlia shot the gun and returned to her room from outside after leaving her room through the window, and then acted as if she had been there all the time. This is the only way Dahlia could've heard the glasses since she were near the window, and asumed everyone else heard it. -Dahlia had someone else to do her job, who came after all the mess and told her how the plan went. Since she was somehow dazed, she asumed the glass actually could be heard, so she stated it as if it where obvious. And this is my theory, which is likely to be 100% false, but hey, it does say more than... Well, that Wright.

The only thing left is for the game to be a paid game, which it can't be, because copyright. I feel you were a bit... biased towards the prosecution when Wright pointed out the fact that Dalhia might have not been able to see clearly. Here's the thing. In her dazed state, there's a good possibility that Dalhia wouldn't be able to discern particular details, meaning the accuracy of her testimony comes into doubt. She could have seen someone else, or possibly even have mixed memories. Penalizing the defense for that point was uncalled for.

A lot of cases are kind of like that in AO. There isn't a lot of facts that can be gathered due to not actually being able to investigate, so both sides try and BS what they can and make it sound legitimate.
