OMG!! This was absolutely perfect! You absolutely nailed the humor of the games, and the character voices felt very on point. Also, the music sounded exactly like the early games! Did you guys compose it yourselves? I will say that the text felt very fast, I was struggling to read it, and at times I had to go back and read it again because it moved on before I fully caught it. But otherwise, I thought it was perfect! The gag where Phoenix presented his badge made me laugh, and that mention of skeletons and spaghetti... is that a reference to Undertale!?

Dev Katie, the game's writer here! I'm so glad you liked it! I really wanted it to feel like the original trilogy, as I felt like the writing was at its peak there, but with new characters and my own spin on it as well. The dialogue doesn't move automatically in the game (except in a few cutscenes or for comedic effect), so you can read it at your own pace. And yes, that was an Undertale reference. I always think of Papyrus when I see that spaghetti, so I threw it into the game as a gag. You should join our Discord server; we have very few Ace Attorney fans so it feels a bit like no one's excited for this game. This has been a huge passion project of mine, and I'm really excited to share it.

@@SarcasticPastaGames I definitely agree with you about the writing being at it's peak in the original trilogy. Above all else, it really felt like a trilogy of games, where the three stories worked together and built up to an epic and well earned finale. Compared to that, the three succeeding games felt more like three individual games, even if they technically followed on from each other and made references and so on.

Hey quick question, what system will you be using for these cases. Are you going to be using aaonline, Pywright, or something else entirely?

We will be using PyWright. It's the easiest to use (for me at least) and probably has the most resources available.
