I had the privilege of owning a Rickman Triumph once. Nicest bike I ever owned before it got terminally modified by a Ford Capri, but the bike I always lusted after was a Triton with swept back headers and a Lyta tank like one of the Tritons here. I could almost smell it. Flippin' gorgeous.

Talk about getting 'tennis elbow' - brilliantly simple solution. And all these machines are stunning. Form and function to the max....back when we really could make things.

Back in the day (1964) I had a Dominator 99 and decided to put twin sweptback pipes on it, the look was good but for whatever reason, it made the bike slower so the original narrow bore siamese pipes soon went back on. Actually they looked pretty good. It was a fantastic era to have lived in😊

Strange that, I rode down to Armours in Bournemouth about 120 miles on my BSA A7ss fitted some sweptbacks and silencers in the car park and threw old stuff in the skip it was definitely slower but looked nice.

0:51 Panther was ahead of time! ...set and match to Panther. By the way, how do you explain to the AA that your bike broke down with a flat tennis ball?

If the Panther so good why did we lust after Triumph , BSA and Norton or even better a Triton or Tribsa ??
