Am I the only one who noticed that the cockpits in AC3 planes seem flatter and have different patterns on them compared to modern day types of these planes? Curious why.

It's because they're modified to have the CFFN system for cockpits, I thought it was a mistake at first

They're modified with COFFIN technology that uses cameras and sensors instead of traditional glass cockpit. Also early versions of COFFIN used in ADF-01 Falken, ADF-11 Raven and etc.

To be honest, these planes look very creepy, I don’t know the reason but, there’s just something unnerving about the normal aircrafts that we’re familiar with don’t have a cockpit.

You've answered to yourself, they're so futuristic and different from what we used to see, that they feel something alien, strange to the eyes... But also very sexy, I don't understand why they don't put at least one of two of them as DLC in AC7, they've added one memorable plane for barely every AC, but for Electrosphere just two boring skins for a very few planes... I hope in the future this game will be more considered.

Well, AC3 planes are just dont exist at the time AC7 takes place. Look closer to the aircraft roster, we MIGHT have had fighter from ACX but even then there's still a year time gap between 2 games so they're not present in the game

Or else, the Japanese version is the complete game, the EU for some reason, the same game but with all the story and paths cutted away... Now I understand why when I was a child the game was confusing to me, like there was something missing... 🙄 Why!? 🤷🏻‍♂️

No not really, even though most of these planes have designs that date back to the 70s, most military aircraft are made to serve for decades. Not to mention how these are all fictional variants that are made to serve even further into the future.

Most of fighter jets that using now, made in 70s-80s F-14 Tomcat - 1974 F-15 Eagle - 1976 F-16 Fighting Falcon - 1978 F/A-18 Hornet 18 - 1983 Probably most extreme example is famous C-130 which was made in 1954

Of course, AC2 was far better then this crap. The cockpit of the planes in AC3 is ridiculous. Some planes looks likes an home made cartoon on paint (the windows in-built app) with shadows to emulate some shapes in the interior of the aircrafts.. Shitty and ugly fictional planes and the awful anime cutscenes.. They made it in the barely end of the PS1 life-time, yet, maybe they should have invested in pachinko machines instead

3 may didn't had good design but it has the best missions and the 3 had a good storyline. I believe it would have been succeed if it was released with the modern graphics, and if the storyline would be a true anime with 52 missions or 26 missions with same number of cutscenes it's gonna overcome every previous season including 4

Geovani Fernandes what the fuck are you on, this game was amazing for its time. ac2 had its fair share of awesome stuff like good graphics, memorable music and etc. but ac3 raised the roof. ac3 had 5 BRANCHING routes, more ORIGINAL aircraft than any of the future individual installments has to offer, memorable story and a very well structured character writing and development compared to what we see in other games. graphics dont matter as long as you make the story and content of a game memorable. so for now i REALLY hope you are joking.
