3:02 Since the LRSSG regularly sorties in groups of 4, and there being only 7 aircraft coming home in mission 7, I think it's safe to say the old Strider 1 died during the Stonehenge recon mission. There's also some lines I've heard in the mission not in this video. Rage and Count have a dialogue after Scream is down with Count suggesting Mimic squadron is a PMC and Rage saying we'd have to shoot them down to find out. Scream will also have a line saying "We tried to be heroes we really tried" just like Rage.

@@FallenStarGMV I cant recall if it was a tweet by kono himself, or if it was during an interview (it'll take some digging as I read this as AC7 was just released) but in short they got the game about halfway or so (assuming the first announcement trailer) where he and a few others were unsatisfied with the story as it did not bring up enough emotion so to speak, so they scrapped the original story and started again giving us what we have. The song "Daredevil" is a reference to the very risky move of doing this late into development and almost unheard of apparently. Now this is just from memory but it went more in depth. If I find the article/tweet ill post it.

In Ace Combat, Su-47 pilots seem to have a tendency to be mysterious in some way. Gault Team from the Belkan War springs to mind. Also, the tail markings “PE GR032” is probably a reference to Ace Combat 3. Plus, their portrait affiliation reads GRGM. It could be nothing more than a reference, or maybe, just maybe, General Resource Limited is involved. They would be coming together about now in the timeline...

every116, Clemens had hired the two to kill Trigger. Considering Trigger was accused of killing Harling, I wouldn’t be surprised if Clemens didn’t trust Trigger and wanted revenge. Or the false intelligence he got from Edgar, an agent of Torres, gave him the view that warrant Trigger being killed in the skies. But hopefully we will find out more about them in the next DLC.

When he says he'll mark them they'll appear on the radar as white arrows if you see something called a mv-22 as a target flying around That's when you know you found it. ps: Sadly they don't get marked with a red circle so you'll be searching for a while if there's tons of enemies still flying around still. Only put a small edit here so if you clicked read more it wouldn't be glitched.

@@tieinterceptor7712 just pay attention when Tucker 0-4 talks on radio, that when the MV-22s spawn. There are 5 MV-22s total in this mission. After you shot down the first one they will be spawned 2 at a time. One goes to the NW corner and the other goes to SW corner.

After playing through AC7 my thoughts were that AC8 will probably be great, something the DLC has reinforced. Nimbus can launch multiple missiles at the same time and those UAVs are agile but the Alicorn's railguns, while fired one shell at a time, can cover a wide area, the drones aren't as agile, but they do try to follow their target relentlessly. Imo the Alicorn.

Briar Mason, Brigadier General Howard Clemens had hired the two to kill Trigger, as he was being given false intelligence by Edgar Saxon, callsign Zul, who was an undercover agent serving Torres. Howard would probably be interrogated, so the mission briefing or debriefing in the next DLC hopefully will give us some more insight about them. I presumed they hated Trigger because we hit one of them in the first DLC mission, considering how emotionally unstable they are.

@@gracecalis5421 Well, I wouldn't say he's the best pilot around. Aside from Wiseman, Huxian is probably the best pilot of the LRSSG (even Count calls her Cyclop's "Top Dog"). But Trigger probably trusts Count more than anyone else to be his Wingman and Count's competetive nature pushes him way beyond his limits, for better or for worst.

Most probably Wiseman took up command of both squadrons, alternating between Cyclops 1 and Strider 1. It was only when Trigger joined the LRSSG did they made the decision to hand over the leader position of Strider Squadron to Trigger permanently.

It should. Remember that the Alicorn is a Yuktobanian submarine purchased by Erusea, it's essentially an upscaled Scinfaxi/Hrimfaxi and it's class is officially the "Super Scinfaxi-class." In fact, a lot of the ships in this DLC mission are Russian a.k.a. Yuktobanian, so it looks like after Mobius One wrecked most of Erusea's navy in Ace Combat 04, Erusea bought a ton of ships from Yuktobania to rebuild its navy quickly.

Capt Torres was in Anchorhead to get cola for his crew. Can't do salvation thirsty, you know. Also, can Count die in the Mimic fight? I got a feeling that 100% was more than just flavour text. Everyone calls Mimic Squadron "filthy bats", but if you look at the logo on their tails, you'll see that the M really does look like a bat! Of course, after seeing the Osean flag on their wings, the "Mimic" title also makes sense. Now we just need to see who they're working for in SP Mission 3.
