ISAF is basically NATO in the Ace Combat world. the song may not be a national anthem for a single ISAF member state but the ISAF anthem as a whole. For example, the NATO hymn created by Captain André Reichling, conductor of the Luxembourg Military Band in 1989 was adopted by official decree on January 3, 2018 but it was used unofficially during events and meetings of NATO countries as a de facto hymn.

Again, the kid holding 13 at gunpoint is MUCH more emotional than not doing it. Not only is Yellow 13 finding out two children who's he befriended have betrayed him with the resistance, but he also seeing that one of them might be willing to kill him after spending so much time together. It's like having your best friend suddenly pull a gun on you and threaten to kill you and saying he only became your friend to betray you. Seeing the kid hold him at gunpoint is much more emotionally devastating for 13.
@SlyAceZeta7 жыл бұрын
DeadlyRecon In my opinion, words hurt more than weapons. I saw it as a much more emotional thing when the kid stood down Yellow 13 with nothing but himself and his words, rather than with pointing a gun at him. Again, that's just my opinion, and this video is certainly biased. Cinema Sins is certainly not immune to different opinions, nor am I :P
@thehavoccompany-a37 жыл бұрын
Yeah, words hurt more than weapons up until you take a bullet to the gut lol That level of indescribable pain, both physically and psychologically, tends to be the ultimate example of betrayal :P In all seriousness, it's easy to say things like "words hurt more than weapons" up until the moment someone actually pulls a gun on you. Then fear and anxiety take over, causing you to start looking back on your life questioning your existence and wondering if you could have done things differently. The threat of death is, above all else, the greatest display of hatred. To hate someone so much you not only wish them dead, but also intend to kill them yourself, says more than any words ever could. Even more so when you happen to be close to that person's heart. Furthermore, I also believe silence tends to be worse than words. At least when a person talks, it means they have the will and heart to do so. They at least respect you that much to say something. But silence? Silence means you aren't even worth the breathe. Or it means they know what they are doing is so despicable they can't explain themselves even if they tried. As a person who *personally knows* the pain of silence, that much I am certain of.

0:53 Well, birds can do some severe damage so Mobius 1 wouldn't be happy anyway if he was close to having engine problems because of them. 1:05 Could just be a bandana. 1:29-1:32 The size of the weapon plant was rather disturbing, to the extent that it would take AIRBORNE ORDINANCE to undo it. If you've seen how big the Stonehenge facility was, I honestly doubt C4 would have done much. A ground invasion would have been worse if Erusea controlled the skies. In terms of cost-effectiveness, I'm inclined to say air raids would be better. 2:09 Ace Combat does use the NATO reporting names for airframes for Strangereal, but that's supposed to tell you on the radio you bagged a Tu-95 in half the syllables. Do take a sin off for radio brevity, Sly. 2:28 That doesn't necessarily meant that EVERYONE had them. Plurality doesn't suggest en masse use here. 2:32 That probably appeals to the realism of understanding heading and distance by landmarks. Also, if you're flying in enemy territory, you might not want to be ogling your radar all the time. 2:39 You're not supposed to be able to pick up enemy airfield radio channels, let alone know who *THEY* are talking to. I'd suggest that would be ATC contacting the base's Command Post, or Command Post contacting some field HQ. 2:57 Depends if they were all confirmed as Mobius 1 kills. Because it would be customary to embellish your actual combat performance. 3:08 There were probably some remaining ISAF controlled pockets nearby and that area wasn't one of them. 3:15 Missions get completed or resolved either way, in success or failure. I think Sky Eye should have said, "A safe return will allow you to keep going on more missions." 3:31 I understand the real thing is far worse on annoying sounds. Imagine having to hear the armed tone of an AIM-9 constantly, despite that you'd be happy you were still breathing in an intense battle. 3:46 It was lost in translation, I guess? 3:56 I guess he was trying to say they're not being so overwhelmed numerically. 3:59 He could have been talking to his wingman, and you weren't supposed to have heard that as the enemy. 4:09 I thought you were going to call it on how dumb that line was and add a sin for it. He's complaining about how it wouldn't be so smart being in enemy territory during a WAR. 4:17 It's a valuable asset. How else do you transport drilled oil en masse on land from the water? 4:32 Except you didn't know *what* manner of help was coming. 4:58 Oil has some long distances to travel on the cheap, that's why. 6:23 Denial, as in "this can't be real". But "overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer". 6:34 It could just be a historic landmark. Maybe you should take the city's official tour sometime, Sly. 7:56 Look, if friend-zoning made the difference between life and death, there's no shame in it. And by the way, they ended up becoming a family(supposedly). You shouldn't have added a sin for that. 10:37 Sometimes the most fulfillment you get from life in general are with those who are the most likened to you in every way. Of course it makes me wonder why Yellow 13 doesn't find something different than being a pilot in a war, which is temporary in the grand scheme of things. 11:06 My eyes have seen some fancy A-10 flying back in my own AF days, but at low speeds like what your speed was at. It's not entirely implausible, particularly for a veteran or ace pilot. 11:43 Tango is phonetic for 'T'. So it's "T-Line", whatever T would signify. 12:49 There's a lot of uninteresting things you have to do in the military anyway. That's just how it is. You don't always get to do the things that might actually be cool to do. 13:05 Economics. Do you really think they're going to use Stonehenge(try to imagine the monthly bill on that behemoth) to bag a couple of civilian planes? 14:28 What's the worst that could happen in complaining to a kid? In the military, you have to watch out how and whom you're complaining. Choosing a kid is astute for someone who can easily get his butt chewed out even harder. 16:52 But are they also responsible for those supply issues? She took a risk--whether she was ordered to or not--and incidentally, got shot down by Mobius 1, which was by the ENEMY and not necessarily because of maintenance neglect. Sometimes in war, you don't get a choice to sit it out if your gear isn't up to snuff. 17:00 It wasn't in cold blood. She was armed and a legal combatant. 18:14 My guess is they were going for emphasized stealth. The slower you fly, the less noise you make, which means ground forces wouldn't be alerted. For AC5's Solitaire mission, you had to take it slow to avoid the detection pockets. 21:32 I guess it was a matter of conscience because they were just youth. 22:56 The whiner only really joined up for the college money... 27:15 No more than all the other Mobiuses being the only real Mobius pilot of the eponymous squadron. Doubtless they were newly initiated rookies. 29:41-30:19 I think you have to remember that back in the early 2000's mass media was not as advanced as it is now. Internet did not completely kill the TV star yet. So in terms of having the encyclopedic information you're looking for, it would be a lot tougher to determine the scoop on everyone. Good luck trying to follow [up] people if there was nothing on cable TV about them, and the Internet was only really getting up off the ground.

The F-4E wasn't carrier capable. It had a tail hook, but the cannon meant that the already nose-heavy aircraft was now too nose-heavy to take off from a carrier deck Also a reason why Navy Phantom pilots sometimes didn't strap on Sparrows into the front fuselage missile wells. This lightened the nose, made taking off easier, and generally made them lighter and better to handle.

You're right, it's not a TGT and doesn't affect the mission much, but they do make a point of it in the briefing and in the mission dialogue :P Plus, the bridge is indeed completely rebuilt and redesigned in AC7. "Pilots are responsible for their planes." That would apply to privately owned civilian planes I believe. Military planes and jets are maintained by the ground crew. If a jet had its engine damaged like that, it would've been immediately grounded. Erusea wasted more money on replacing an Su-37 and training a new pilot to fill in the spot of Yellow 4 instead of replacing the engine. Hell they could've just replaced the Su-37 outright.

That's the one thing I've been questioning since I was 5 years old. Why is the carrier CV pushing Mobius One to take off while they're preparing you? Also "Your callsign is now Mobius One" Either it always has been or I'm wondering what is was before. Ah 15 year questions.

Actually, I think the fact he was planning to use the gun gave it a more emotional theme. Remember, this is a child, not an adult, confronting the idea of killing another man. Without the weapons, the narrator kid is seen as nothing more than an innocent child given a very horrible situation. But that changes when the weapons and his intent to use them is thrown into the mix. It adds much more depth to his character, showing his internal conflict and struggle: Revenge for his family VS Forgiveness and closure.

Oh! Also: Sin nº88 Minute 19:35 - I dont exactly think it should count as a sin, becouse Cruise Missiles and other heavier Long-Range Ordinance in missile form are programmed to do random evasive maneuvers to not make its trajectorie easy to intercept. But hey, shooting down that thing was annoying as hell, so what do I know?
@SgtSpecOps17 жыл бұрын
And Also: Sin nº115 Minute 24:50 - Humm... I guess that the giant circle coming from Megalith is its operational range (or its range translating its targeting ability),remebering that Megalith is a facillity capable of launching really,REALLY powerfull missile weaponry (besides the interception missiles used for intercepting the Ulisses Fragments, it could theoretically launch, say like... ICBM's?), wich I guess means "YES! YOUR NOT SAFE MOTHER F****R! PREPARE TO FEEL THE RATH OF ERUSIA!" (explaning the map fadding to red again, but then again, i realise that the Erusian Forces have surrendered, so I guess their just trying to cause Chaos in the continent?)

I'm pretty sure "Right behind you, heads up!" is the pilot calling out to a wingman that you're behind them. It always seems to play in those instances when I use the game, at least. Still sinnable for the ambiguity, I suppose. Also, in the Stonehenge attack, you don't need to stay below 2000 feet for the opening salvo, but once you attack the facility the blast wave from the guns can still swat your plane down. They still do something, but the gunners would rather aim for everyone else despite all the transmissions about "aim for the ribbon."

You know i was suprised that you didnt take a sin off when a Yellows started noticing your atttacking one of them and causing them to smoke. Even another is telling everyone that A Fighter with a Ribbon is putting up a fight and becoming a bigger threat then most of your allies. But then again, a sin would be added for them or Yellow 13 not recognizing you in the Stonehedge Offensive. Since Mobius 1 is the only one with a ribbon throughout the game until his squadron bears the insignia in Megalith.

4 years late, but I do, too! I played this game for a bit as a kid and picked it back up as an adult recently. As of now, I really get how AC4 sells its power fantasy, here. I ended up loving the escort mission because of what it suggests. An entire squadron is sent for this one vulnerable aircraft, and it has but one defender. The crew onboard panics for their lives just before you show what you're made of as Mobius 1 by sweeping every other plane out of the sky; literally kicking all kinds of ass in the face of an immense and imminent threat. We compare Mobius 1 to the Doom Slayer for a reason!

I feel the need to do a sin counter for you. For instance, "Tango Line" most likely refers to, "Target Line", or something similar. "Tango" is NATO phonetic for "T", and military always uses the phonetic when there's a single letter. This one was the final straw before I had to leave.

So Kevin Miller does Additional voices for some of the possible NPC 's. He doesn't do a specific character. Also I believe the initial cause for the war besides Erusia taking control of Stonehenge was the astroids that landed 5 years prior to the story. I believe 5 major astroids wiped out a huge portion of Strangereal and the small fragments continue to pummel the continent. I Believe the raid on Megalith was like the group (A World with no Boundaries) which consists of rouge Erusian soldiers who became terrorists to take revenge against ISAF and Erusia for surrendering.
