This kinda shows why EML can be rewarding yet ineffective against qaams and other missiles. Puts you at too much of a disadvantage in a dog fight

I feel most using the EML just try to catch people flying in a loop since they're flight path is very predictable but planes with a decent turning speed when performing a high-g turn can easily use their guns and turn EML users into swiss cheese. This is especially the case for those people who use the Su-33 in those 2250-2000 matches, I personally use the MiG-21bs and Su-33 planes are basically free kills

Solution: just stay in 2000-2500 point lobbies. I generally favor those over unlimited lobbies and I have a blast using low/mid-tier planes. Not as many choices with QAAMs. The worst you encounter is somebody who is unreasonably skilled with the MiG-21 with MGP's.

i don't find QAAMs that bad until people start using that upgrade that makes them not loose lock it just makes them super broken so i've started limiting the budget on my server to make it harder and kicking people i see doing that specific thing

So after having some shower thoughts the Nosferatu, a plane developed by a tiny nation, is more advanced than the X-02 in terms of its EML since that thing can essentially rapid fire its EML compared to the X-02's not to mention having a smaller size and more ammo

Not only that, but if you dodge it two times thinking it will not hit you the next time it comes around (running out of fuel) youre gravely mistaken as it still can. This mixed with everyone else using qaams makes the match literraly unplayable Every other weapon in the game requires skill to use

Everyone relies on missles way too much, and I love using the Su-Terminator with eml, the only thing that really touches me anymore is the SASM’s, because to avoid them is opposite of everything else. Avoiding QAAM’s with a F-14 and a perfectly timed flick is the best feeling, but SASM’s require high speed sweeping turns to avoid, which leaves you vulnerable to everything else. This is why F-16/15 and others with SASM’s always take priority if I’m running with my EML’s, because they will more than likely kill you before you get more than 2-3 kills

No. If anything it takes away high g. Irl if you go too fast and try to make high g turns, depending on the aircraft, g force will be higher and will require you to have more resistace to it. To make better turns you can roll your plane at high speeds and make a turn with high g maneuvers to the direction youre facing (works better if you are upside down though)

I highly recommend you play missions that are heavy on drones (not 20 nor 10 though) They tend to make the most unpredictable turns at times Its all about prediction. Watch enemy movement closely and then track what they are doing with your aim I forgot to mention you can also practice with Mihaly

That aircraft's design looks ridiculous. Unless I'm missing something, it doesn't appear to have a rudder, which any aircraft designer would consider a fatal flaw. How is it supposed to perform a coordinated turn or maneuver without yaw? It'd make a better low orbit spacecraft than an airplane.

Maybe install thrusters / extend flaps / adjust engine power, since controlling yaw is (on paper) actually up to the designer. In practice, yes, vertical fins should be the easiest to implement. I like the look but I'd be happier if the Su-47'ish switchblade forward-swept wings, the moving rear stabilizer wings and the canards didn't exist. ... I think I've just described the YF-23.
