Ace was at his peak during the mid to late 70s. That’s the time period you have to listen to if you wanna hear his best tone and playing.

Obviously a ‘78 Ace is preferable, I just think it is sad that he has only a few hundred fans coming out in Detroit, arguably Kiss’ biggest city

He plays the smaller venues because he actually nets more income. Those large venues have al kinds of issues. Cost, Insurance, Equipment, etc. I saw him this past Summer and it was a terrific show. It was also a smaller venue.

Hard to believe he makes more with less people. Small venues also have costs. It’s the same to travel to the city regardless. Simple math. 400 x $50 is 20k. That is before taxes, fees, show costs, etc. and does not include merch of course, his guarantee cannot be more than 10-20k. You should book his next show and let me know how much you profit.

@@RobBenjaminMusic There is no need for sarcasm. I said that because Gene himself, has said that Ace was earning more with his smaller venues than Kiss was at it's huge live shows. Gene is an excellent business man and if he was saying that, and now Gene himself is performing at smaller venues I would imagine it is correct. I have never been a promoter or a band manager but I do know Gene is a smart business man and has recently said that of Ace's smaller venues.

@ you are comparing Gene and Ace who are in totally separate business and financial situations. Gene has a much better situation and has better representation. It does not change the fact that Ace played to a few hundred people in Kiss’ biggest market and is embarrassing himself on so many levels, while simultaneously killing his re-sell value. Yes I have actually read Gene interviews and you are taking his situation and applying it to Ace to fit your broken narrative here. Gene meant his solo shows have less overhead than a Kiss show and are therefore more profitable. Actually read the interview next time before spreading your opinion.

As Paul Stanley said in his book, Face The Music-Ace could have been one of the greats

Yup, he has derailed his post Kiss comeback by playing the same exact East Coast and Midwest markets over and over. Pulling only 400 people in Kiss’ biggest city is embarrassing. It should have been a NYE event with well known 80s bands, instead of a lounge gig.

Heard the AI crap narration and stopped the video. Don't be lazy, narrate your own videos like a normal person.

It’s not lazy clown. I created all the dialogue and yes I use Ai to narrate some of my videos for audio and captioning clarity. I don’t need negativity from people who have no merit and don’t matter, have several seats. Also I have narrated most of my videos, you should research before making blanket criticisms on subjects you know nothing about! Sorry you only have 53 subscribers and your channel is full of flying content no one cares about.

I like that you have no narration or audio on your crappy toy planes videos yet have the audacity to throw down an opinion on mine. You have 53 subscribers since 2007, when did you become an authority on content creation?
