Even though it is common knowledge that Gene has never done drugs, what Ace actually said was that He didn't think Gene ever did cocaine. Go figure. The comment about the lyrics is still good. Perhaps. She’s much younger so you gotta wonder. I think I heard him say one time that she was a teacher. Ace has a long list of “strange” women in his past. Sometimes I wonder if he corrupted them. I’m 95% certain the Texas model he talks about is Kim Rowe. Ace apparently got her pregnant and she had a daughter that he never acknowledged. Another girlfriend Wendy Moore confirmed this. The model had to take him to court for child support. A former friend of Ace’s said that Ace promised her the world, but completely ignored her. The friend said she called him up once completely distraught and she shot and killed herself while talking to him on the phone. The guy said he’s still scarred by it and is pissed at Ace over how he handled it. He’s talked about it in different interviews, wrote a book decades ago about Ace and Kiss, and he was never sued, so you gotta think there’s some truth to it.

In an interview, he swore up and down he had a Grammy and he absolutely believed it. He called his wife and had her take a pic of the award that he believed was a Grammy. It wasn’t. That is probably the case with his IQ. I actually thought it was pretty damn cool that he did not even know what his awards were. Thats rock n roll. Gene or Paul would know exactly what awards they had and would never let anyone forget it. That being said, without Gene and Paul Kiss would have flopped in the first year. Without Ace, it wouldn't have mattered.

I think Gene can be an ass, but I also think Gene obviously cares about Ace and even Peter. Ace said he went to Australia with Gene for his shows after all so Gene must like him, he just didn't like his drinking and drugs. Paul I think just views everyone as a necessary evil to get what he wants.
