derekloewen68 yes! I have two filing system. One for current paces being used and one for future paces. I will try to do a video on this soon!

How do you decide which words to use on the Word Building test. There are more words in the PACE thank answers to fill in on the Test. Can we just decide whichever words we choose?

I’m the test key it tells you which ones to say. I think they try to keep it from doubling up with the ones they ask the questions on in the back page. Eventually it’ll have all the words.

Currently I use a spreadsheet from google docs. I would love to find a way to share it with you all! A friend from Australia made it for me and it is wonderful!

My son is going to 2nd grade and he also works in ACE paces at school. My only question is when will he start learning how to write his own sentences in his paces and also memorizing the words instead of just copying them from the page. I'm planning on working with him and making sure he has the spelling down instead of depending on then coping method alone. But anyhow any idea when his own creative writing will begin?

TheWord MadeFlesh ACE does a GREAT job of letting them start being creative with sentences but not overwhelming them! That said their spelling may be their weakest subject. (Or maybe I am just a bad speller!!) Lit and creative writing may be a great place for him to start working with his creativity. I also love just sitting down with my kids around that age and typing the story they tell me! They love seeing the words go on the page and I love documenting their made up stories!!

@@Handkerchiefgal What a great idea he ACE has made him an incredible reader but the spelling word building not so much. They are doing a read master program now at our school he really enjoys it. However I don't think that's going to help with spelling either.
