If people gaming they have exceeded money 🤑and time 😮they need to burn it 🔥to make themselves feel good 🙈so I am not gonna suggest that buying acer if they wanna play game just buy razer(main course )or mifcom(side dishes) maybe they will afford PlayStation 5 (desserts)as well but anyway I don’t game at all cuz i buy computer only for study and work make the thing less cost and more focus on the things really help your life 🌼today just wanna find a computer let’s say worthy is mean the price is proportional to the quality like at least is worthy ♥️not only the case of the product is fancy but inside is weird 🤷🏻‍♀️or some very high tech but meaningless functions that not make much sense tbh 😰like fancy brand to let people show off 🤫I want something like companies that have a little bit conscience think about profit and the clients needed as well ,less is more 😊but now I’m seeing this ,somehow it is kinda funny and hilarious.🤣

My mom bought me this laptop for my birthday. And I use it for streaming and gaming! And it’s great for casual gaming, not high end gaming, but good casual games like Minecraft or shooters.

acer aspire 3 went to full ssd and dropped hdd 1 tb luxery with the 256 ssd.... next laptop will be probably medion 2 tb hdd and 256gb ssd

Good review. After almost an year I bought same laptop with different name (Acer Extensa) and some upgraded specs (Ryzen 7520 and 500 gb gen4 ssd) for INR 25500(almost 310 Usd). Works great with ubuntu 22.04.

I have intel core i5 1135g7 aspire 3 with 8gb upgradable ram, 256gb m.2 ssd and 1080p ips screen and i got it for only 410$. It is the best budget laptop. I think ryzen 3 laptop for 550$ is expensive and if you spend more 100$-150$ you can buy budget gaming laptop

i m using i7-3517U since 2013, now windows 11 is laggy and bit slower but with debloater scripts, still using bit smoother. need to upgrade laptop. i m radiologist by prefession and not interested in games, just surfing and movies. need ur suggestion for budget laptop so in coming future can beat any windows lag and run smooth

Upgraded my parents PC which used an old i7 4500u to this ryzen 3 with ssd. Such a huge difference, and only bought for 498$ AUD. What a great budget workhorse.

Bought an aspire 3 and the motherboard quit working, the screen went black. It could not be fixed. It was out of warranty and there Acer to me sold me a lemon and they did nothing to help with this. I would not recommend this computer or their company to anyone who is looking for a computer.

Unfortunately no manufacturer is going to replace or fix anything without charging a hefty amount once it is out of warranty. Lenovo 2-1 laptops have weak hinges that tend to break before the years warranty runs out and when you contact Lenovo they say that it broke as a result of mishandling and abuse and they won't cover it even though the unit is still under the first year warranty. Not too many companies out there that actually step up to make things right when their things don't work correctly or crap out early. Doubt purchasing an extended extra cost warranty would work out much better in real life. I tend to be of the mind that if you are buying an extended warranty because you fear that the device may not hold up, then that alone should give you the proverbial dummy slap to stay away from that brand/model.

​@Snorb-p8b I personally wouldn't expect to much out of a laptop, if you want to run games like that your better off buying a console,a pc, or a actual gaming laptop, laptops like these are really used for like teachers, and high schoolers and people that attend college or for like movies obviously. but some laptops like these are good for there own purposes but this one is not purposed for gaming if that makes sense. Reinstall Windows, after that if it's still happening, replace the internal storage

Had my last laptop like 10 years ago wanting to get another one now but where's the actual clickers gone seems something that would be annoying rather them have the 2 clickers at the bottom of the touch pad dunno why they've done away with them

It’s because the quality is cheaper than older models... I also have my 10 year old HP from Target ($600-700) and my step dad bought he latest model brand new, same thing: Only touchpad (to identify who’s using and track info) Cheap thin plastics without logo (this will cost you a lot for bigger logo plus thick plastic) Weight of new laptops is very light but they trick you by telling you it’s more portable The fans are louder than my laptop even though my is older No disk drives, limited USB slots No SD card readers (some do) Screens are very cheap - for you to get 2010 quality you need to be 2-3 tiers higher than your current model And the list goes on.... if I showed you my 10 year old laptop to the same model in 2023 with better specs, you would think my product is the higher tier/quality one just by the build of it only
