Troubleshooting and repairing an Acer Aspire E1-572G with no image

Hello, I have an Acer V3-771G with no image. I tried the display with another board from a similar laptop, it worked. Then I've swapped the Bios chip from that other board. Unfortunately it didn't work. The display remains black. Can it work, to swap the Bios Chip from a similar laptop? (The two boards have the same Rev. Number, yet they are not identical. One has 2 the other has 4 Ram slots. Also the soldered GPU is not exactly the same.

hi, bios should be the same, check if chipset and gpu are the same, it helps if they are the same. also it is not recommended to swap bios, you should program one, and preferably with clean ME region, you may also have problem woth the gpu, you can try and thansfer the board to UMA

Hello, I have a laptop E1-570g-32214G50M, but I press the power button, then I see a blue led light, but it doesn't work I have a screen black, the fan starts for a few seconds and then turns off. if I connect the power supply, there is a red charging light. You think it could be the bios. Can you help me , The mainbord is LA-9535P rev 1.0 CPU intel i3-33217u intel graphics 4000

hello i have the same laptop on the video cpu :i7 4500u GPU:hd8750m and i have the same problem black screen how can i be sure if i can slove it with reprograming the bios

Hi, you cannot, unless you don't want to use an oscilloscope, but it will take more time than to just reprogram the BIOS, so do it, if it is not you can look for other stuff, always make sure that you tested everything else and then assume motherboard is broken, so ram lcd lvds cable etc.

i have this exact pc and its uploaded with a diffrent BIOS and it takes so long to boot...can you please show how to change the bios or send the file for this exact pc

hi, you need an external programmer like ch341a, and the exact model of the motherboard, for example LA-9531p, then you will deen to desolder the bios chip and reprogram it, send me the model of the motherboard and what cpu gpu you have and i will send you a link with the bios.

you will not be able to use this bios in windows or dos mode, my guess is that you need a clear ME bios image
