If it says "Too many pattern attempts...",
or not working / frozen Android system,
or you want to erase all data (factory settings / restore).
This video shows how to unlock Acer tablet.
For "Too many patterns attempts...", try to log-in with your Google account.
If you have a problem with your username or password, you can fix this using another computer.
IMPORTANT: Because you don't have an access to the menu, you can only use a WiFi network that you have used before (you can't make a new wireless connection). And if the wireless was turned off when you last used the tablet, you are not lucky.
Next step - if you can't log-in with your Google account, you can try with ADB (Android Debug Bridge).
This is a command line tool that lets you communicate with a connected Android-powered device.
You can unlock it using ADB or turn on the Wi-Fi or mobile networks and unlock it using your Google account.
Also, you can use this method only if you have USB debugging turned on. This option is turned off by default.
Finally,if nothing works, only factory reset can give you access to your android device.
If your device is synchronized with your Google account you can restore it after that. Otherwise the device will be like brand new (software-wise).

hello everyone.. i need your advice and help, for my Aver iconia B1, its not charging on any charger it only charge in computer, but it only charge upto the very first bar and the color of battery charging is red i don't know maybe the first bar on battery is filled then it stop.. another problem i had with the tablet is that the moment i connect the tablet with a cable on my computer i dont see it there there should be a Acer iconia but there is nothing.. i don't know what's wrong with the tablet.. please help.. and sorry for my English, please understand. thank you.

Hi, my acer tablet b1-850 is just had a software update and after its done the screen starts to flushing I restart it and its just keep flushing in the logo and android screen I tried every button on it .. no respond its new .. please any opinion that helps me ..I will be appreciated.. Thank you

+Maya Rose Try a factory reset. If your tablet is in warranty, go to the shop.If there is something wrong during the update, the tablet have to be reflashed.

MC_ Kid You have problem with the Android OS or with the hardware. You can try to flash stock ROM on your tablet, but there is highly probable to damage it. It's more good to take it to a service.

to Aaron Winch: If you have a memory card inserted, remove it. Reset the tablet from the reset hole and try again. If this not help you, then you must flash stock ROM on your tablet. What is the problem with your tablet?

+Zfix Thank you so much for your advice. i plug it to my laptop, and it show battery charging animation, but when i turn it on the tablet just shut down seconds after the desktop shows (no shut down down process, it just went dead). After i let it charge for a few minutes i try to turn it on again with the sd card removed, and now it work just fine, just like nothing happen, all my data and apps still there. Thank you very much for your help. But i am still confuse, what do you think happen? Does the sd card causing the problem?

+ahmed sulub This is an Windows based tablet. You have to reset it from the troubleshooting menu or you can use password removal application (only for a locale account).

There, at the other side of the mother board is the camera connector. If this does not solve the problem, the next step is to remove the mother board. Check the camera connector for damage and reconnect the camera. Finally, you must replace the camera. If you think you do not have enough experience to do this, seek a specialist for help.
