Everytime I see a video posted my face just lights up! I'm 13 and from Oregon. Im loaded with homework and finals because I take a lot of high-school classes. I haven't been able to get out in the past month to go fishing and these videos basically have the same effect on me as if in real life. I would love you could come fish Oregon again! More 3 day eating only what I catch please!!!!!

Flathead meat is always yellowish. At least where I’m at. And yes we have lots of places that stock cats.

That yellow is just fat. I've seen it a ton here in Mississippi, because we have a ridiculous amount catfish in our waters. It usually happens when a catfish is well fed, but doesn't move a whole lot. You see it a lot in ponds and lakes.

Mississippi here and all flatheads I’ve caught around here are yellow meat. We also have lakes that stock farm raised cats. Even msdwf stocks lakes with cats for recreational fishing.

They stock Rainbow trout up here in Clarksville Tennessee. Unfortunately it doesn’t last long because people take 20-30 home a piece. I’ve never heard of catfish stocking though .. that’s new to me.

Always yellow. I’ve found the yellower the better they taste. It’s the whiter and redder meats that taste muddiest.
