@@UserEros I think it's definitely worth it, in my opinion the story starts out slow, but once it kicks in it's really interesting!! Plus there are events that also have their own voiced stories, so you won't have to worry about having nothing to do, although there's an update with a new main story coming soon (or is it already out? Idk I haven't been able to play it for a while)

wow what a reaction to acheron , loved it the guy and girl in the car are Sunday (male) and Robin (female) they are siblings like Ayato and Ayaka from Genshin and when i m correct its also the same VAs Acheron (Arkeron , spoken) is the Raiden Mei Expy , Kiana is hopefully yet to come also the robot she was fighting was Sam a potential upcoming Character I would recommend playing the story before Acheron comes out funfact the writer was not only behind Chapter 9 but also behind Elysian Realm Glad youre back to this wonderful game

The Penacony arc is right up there with the modern Arknights story, ch 5+. But because there’s loads of interactive content, voice acting, cutscenes, etc, I’d say it’s better than majority of Arknights story in terms of overall package in storytelling. In terms of Mihoyo products, you can argue it’s the best presented story of all games they’ve released and that’s including Honkai Impact 3rd stories. That’s only part 1. Who knows what part 2 or even 3 has in store for us

Ack-err-on is how its pronounced in-game. If you haven't, check out the "It's Always Night in Penacony" stream they did right before the release of 2.0 on your own time. It's an in-universe parody of late night shows like Johnny Carson, but it has little plot teasers mixed in as well.

White Night full version is available on all platforms, a heads up though its not much longer than what was in the MV. Penacony has been incredible so far from what I've played of it, just do your best to avoid spoilers as it's a very twist heavy storyline. Ill fill you in on the characters in the trailer rq, no spoilers, for the ones you didnt know The two characters you saw in the car with the white hair was Sunday, the male, and Robin, the girl. It is assumed they will be playable but nothing official as of yet. The guy dancing at the start was Aventurine(pronounced ah-venture-een) who works with Topaz and Numby at the IPC. The sparkler girl who fell from the roof was Firefly. The Raiden Expy is Acheron, as you correctly guessed, pronounced Ach-eh-ron. The robot suit guy fighting Acheron was Sam, a member of the Stellaron Hunters. Just some fact and info, the music videos from Honkai Star Rail, Interstellar Journey and White Night are also the trailers that shows part of the story that will unfold, Interstellar Journey is about the 3 starter planets, so it's the stories from 1.0 until 2.0 where White Night starts and are now the next characters and planet(Penacony) that we will get until something new is released.

Yes at 07:12 this is Acheron. I love that they used for her the name of a greek river. In greek mythology the Acheron river was the river that was leading the souls in to the underworld to Hades. So probably they give her this name because she has a dark past. I don't want to spoil what she is but she is something different in compare to other characters 😉. I mean lorwise

my reaction becuase i constatly noclip in dreams IRL and black swan sied only memokeepers could walk thugh wals warp and noclip, so dose that make me a memokeeper? theres also some esoteric symbolism in what she says "the endless abyss under the water" the "dream world" is esotericaly related to the sea or the water, altho i was able to find articals on it last year seems they all been scrubbed, for her "as above" would be real world and "so below" would be the dream? wonder if any char in a hoyo game will have a edilon or cons of "resistance is assistance" i also wonder why none has decided to take oever penicony and make it so dont need credits to buy stuff in a dream lol (idk if theres a STORY reason why or if this is just game mechanics)

Idk if you have anyone that can moderate the comments for your HSR playthrough but I was watching another person's playthrough of the Penacony story and people in the comments were talking about spoilers from leaks about upcoming versions and I don't want that to ruin your experience just wanted to let you know to be extra careful of spoilers on this one. I know you mentioned on the Danganronpa videos that you play ahead sometimes but you can’t exactly play ahead into future version of a gacha. So just be alert and I hope no one spoils this for you. 🤞

@@ShizukiShirano but E6 still underperform compared to 5 stars and unless they cracked like Tingyun are replaceable as time goes on and on. The great thing about 5 stars too is that even if they slowly become not meta you can always roll for eidolons to get them back up to the standard. Also E6 4star is actually harder to obtain than an E0 5star. The only use he will have in my mind now is a breaker heal dps in Pure Fiction but that got nerfed cause everyone complained he had no cleanse bc Star Rail playerbase wants every character to fit into every slot of content perfectly. It's sad what some braindead beta whinging will do.

How you pronounce Penacony is up to you. Peenacony is ok because it comes from Penal Colony, which it originally was. Penacony is how its usually called, so both are ok. Storywriting is S-tier but it has some issues regarding letting some events "breathe". Some things just happen a bit too fast. Btw avoiding spoilers is near-impossible on YT and Twitter, because leakers and thumpnails often spoil without warning. :( Story in Penacony is up until now "Fun and wholesome" and mostly a "holiday and relaxation arc", like Shaoji said during the 2.0 livestream. Btw you HAVE to build at least one team somewhat decently at max lvl to clear the story without hassle. Dont spread resources, pump them into 1 DPS, 1 Sustain (healer, shielder) 1 buffer or debuffer. From the story alone you should get enough stellar jades to pull some decent characters. Also the old events, that are still available (like museum or shopping street), are optional but extremely fun and give some decent rewards. They made Grinding mats with QoL updates even easier and you can your dailies in 5 min and just log-off after that if you dont want to do any story. Also you dont have to be online every day because you get "reserved trailblaze power" that gives you extra energy for farming after 1 day ^^

While the Penacony story only just started (the devs said it will span from 2.0 to 2.3, epilogue included), what Penacony truly did well in my eyes is the dream locations (two in particular, won't spoil which ones~). The music/sound, the visuals, and a liiittle bit of disregarding the irl laws of physics. I hope they lean even more into it in the future patches.

We probably aren't killing Himeko. There is still a slight chance we're not killing anybody... but by this point Occam's Razor suggests otherwise. There is one freeze-frame bonus in this that I'm not sure was intentional or not: if you go frame-by-frame when Caelus is jumping high into the air and throwing a punch, in the last instant when everything goes black-and-white it is very clear that Stelle has replaced him. I don't want to do spoilers, but the stuff which you can't avoid knowing about the plot by the time you arrive: * Penacony is a stronghold of the Harmony, a former prison planet now operating as a very high-class resort focusing on experiences in a shared dreamscape. * They are holding a great and regular festival, which for the very first time is now open to the public. They have sent invitations to numerous groups to send representatives. * The known attendees include multiple enemies of the Harmony, as well as several groups that while not enemies are operating at misaligned purposes to Penacony's stated interests. And Himeko. * They knew they were doing this, so they are not entirely trustworthy in this upcoming cluster____ either. I'd like Gallagher myself, if only to get a better read on him. Assuming I've met him, he displays all the expected personality of a diplomatic hotel detective at a high-class place, but he failed to take an action I'd assumed at the time he did off-camera until later events proved otherwise and I'm yet unsure what this means.

i have never seen anyone give this answer to the "why peaople want to stay in the dream" (fireflys question) that i notice when i sleep i try to sleep AS LONG AS POSSIBLY CAN to stay in the dream, on the reverse i will try to stay UP as LONG as possible to stay awake and in "re-ality" as if the mechanism for avoiding death is the SAME mecanism that makes one want to stay in dreams. i know sleeping long possible , staying awake as LITTLE as possible = depression. waking as early sleeping as little as possible and staying awake as MUCH as possible = pleased with life. but what dose it mean when BOTH stay ASLEEP as long as possible and stay AWAKE aslong as possible? = 50/50 depression and happyness mixed?

Acheron is pronounced Ack-er-on, she is Star Rail's Raiden Mei iteration. Yes that IS a concert hall in fact. The writer may be the same that wrote the HI3 Himeko's demise.... however Welt literally came to Star Rail universe specifically to prevent Himeko's death; if they killed her off it would be a real waste of him coming to this universe so I don't see them doing that.
