my headcanon is that, Idrylla didnt truly "die" or "fell". But maybe, more like, they became everything or anything that is deemed "beautiful", depending on the people's own perspective. Like literally, anything that me ir you deemed as "pretty" or "beautiful" or "gorgeous" or "majestic" regardless living or not, i believe THAT is Idrylla. Instead of dead, They became what They literally embodied. Remember the trailer in the myriad celestial, whne the panel shows "The Beauty" it shows a crack or rather shattered, depicting They could "shatter" Themself to spread what is beautiful, or pretty, plus beauty itself is subjective to different people, yet it universally exist within our perspectives.

Ruan Mei is really complicated and fascinating person, even more then Topaz (cus big Corpa worker), im interested what you will think after her story in 1.6 Trailblaze Interlude. Fan fact: she took her name from both parents names, so its not referencing anything directly (except Ruan "guitar" music instrument she has), but her character is kinda reminiscing of Dr. MEI of HI3 (and GGZ) in some aspects.

If you do start playing again, don't worry about starting a new account, especially if you were able to do the silverworlf event and got the "before the tutorial" light cone which is BiS for a lot of units. Also, they have made amazing QoL for returning players with a reserve trailblazer power which accumulates even after the max cap of 240 is full (I think the reserve is 2.4k, I don't really remember), they also made a returning player "event" that helps you catch up again. Storywise, if you lost track, they made a timeline feature where you can somewhat rewatch cutscenes again (or atleast make it easier to look up the stuff you forgot). The only "problem" for you now is the lack of premium sustain units because as the game amps up in difficulty, the necessity of one grows everyday.

As someone who's a complete sucker for horror aspects and elements in non-horror games i can only say that Penacony is probably my favourite and most intriguing expansion and story that hoyoverse has ever come out with. Even in their marketing and showcases of it they insisted on it being a 'heartwarming and uplifting story' despite at the same time coming out with by far the creepiest trailers they've ever dropped loll.

HSR is for sure a game worth getting into, I honestly dont think I ever felt as respect and rewarded by a gacha game before. The story is great ofc, the characters too, but what is special about this game is that you can feel that the devs love the game - the trailers, the way they keep adding new endgame and improving quality of life, the way they listen tot he community....I have been honestly impressed how well they are developing this game, so I strongly support you in falling into the pit with us all and playing this as a LETS PLAY.

The part where Sparkle asks questions, shoots herself with blanks, and gives an answer. Then, "What is Elation?" "Me! I am Elation!" reminds me of a scene in the TV series "Gotham". Yeah, its kinda crazy how good the Sparkle trailer was especially, I was saving for someone else but I just had to pull her after she was given 3 great trailers. I would enjoy watching you dive back in to the this game. The cast is overall very fun and the overarching story is also very solid. The latest planet has been packed full of stuff. Also another detail that I like more than Genshin is that most limited-time events stick around in some playable way, it doesn't turn into lost content.

"I want to know what this means" A popular theory is that this was her being recruited as a Masked Fool by Aha himself. If her character teaser is anything to go by, Sparkle is an actress who suffered a nervous breakdown after playing the same role almost 1,000 times and basically turned into Joker (no, not Harley, Joker). At time of this writing, she's also the current banner and is looking like she is probably one of the top supports of the game

If you do pick up the game again, I recommend reading the Data Bank, particularly the section on the Aeons (which is 1 or 2 paragraphs each). Each of these trailers have their damage type, Path, and I think most have their faction in the universe they're part of

Tbh i love that morally dubious characters or straight up evil characters are playable. Meanwhile most if not all the other Characters that arent evil have extreme and sad backgrounds, with a lot of dead relatives, friends, and brutal pasts (if you read the lore) I honestly expected to happen what happened in 2.0 . Yukongs Storyquest straight up said that there are Warhammer 40k lvl Spacebattles in this universe. Often the Eons behave like Eldritch Horrors, just intervening if its for their cause, making the sacrifice of millions seem like a flick of a hand for them.

You'd be coming back at the right time. Acheron - who is the Raiden Mei/Raiden Shogun of HSR - debuts next patch. Jingliu is who you remember to be. Depending on who you talk to, either she or Imbibitor Lunae ("horny" Dan Heng) is the biggest damage dealer in the game. Saying Ruan Mei is "evil" is probably a little harsh. Certainly she operates in a morally very dark gray area, but I wouldn't call her any more evil than Dr. MEI, Mobius, or Vill-V, and certainly not more evil than Otto (all of HI3). And yeah - everything about Penacony (the third planet that has just been released) is an absolute trip so far.

Black Swan is not evil, but we don't know what all her motives are. She was featured in a Trailer called Myriad Celestia: Fables about the stars Part 1 and since I first saw her and heard her in that I was waiting to pull her(She's voiced by Arryn Zech, who played Blake Belladonna in RWBY, and so I call her Blake Swan) As for Sparkle she's basically the Joker(literally says "Why so serious?" frequently) and I also get a bit of Neo from RWBY vibes too.

I've only just realized this but (guessing here) when I watched Kafkas trailer I wondered why the rose petals? to censor for blood? I think it's actually to symbolize the knights of beauty, as Argenti also has them in his. Just a guess but I think I'm right on the mark. However, lacking the same past, he lacks the same future, and you can't really say more about him than that he is potentially a very capable and dangerous man who might under the right circumstances set out to achieve goals well above what most would aim for. * Blade: It's complicated, and he couldn't tell you a lot of it if you asked him. You'll pick his past up sidelong as you meet various people who it turns out have a relationship with him. (Including one who likewise has no knowledge about any of this despite being central to the entire affair.) * Kafka: No spoilers because I don't have them anyway - pretty much all we have of her backstory is right in the trailers, although her story quest does go a bit more into her personality and viewpoint, as well as some hints as to her relationship with the "main character(s?)". * Fu Xuan: Your introduction to her in-game will do a much better job of both showing and telling how she operates. Bias is light, and it'll give you some perspective on the IPC before you need to deal with them directly. There's something people looking at them from the outside tend to miss at first. * Argenti: Idrylla was the name of the Aeon of Beauty, generally believed to be deceased. The Knights of Beauty mostly think either that she's just lost or that she can be brought back. Hard to say what the truth is, especially since there are factions who like muddying it in various directions. (The Swarm is also supposed to be long dead. At the least, it seems certain they're fated to die.) * Ruan Mei: Not precisely evil, but asocial in a way that makes her dangerous to be around because you won't pick on on cues that are abnormal or absent. Has an interesting relationship with Herta, as she seems to believe she's successfully infiltrating and subverting some of Herta's experiments without her knowledge; the reality appears to be that Herta is sufficiently unconcerned with any of this to even acknowledge her awareness of it. * Black Swan: While the fortune-teller act is just that - it serves a memetic entity to be distinctive and memorable - she's unusually well equipped for it. The more important a question is to people, the more easily she can find an answer to it that won't be easily disproven. Conversely, the thing she's honestly clueless about will be topics nobody considered to start with. * Sparkle: No comment for now. Luochas JP VA is esentially Otto´s VA, also i dont know if you saw the honkai Chronicals for otto, but the one image was legit Luocha and the coffin the "death flowers" are Red Spider Lillies I dont know if you know it but Amalee (Monarch on Twitch) is the VA of Jing Liu, and yes she is the lady who fought Jing Yuan The Mei from Honkai Impact will be Acheron, which is yet to come, maybe for 2.1 , and Ruan Mei is most likely the most evil person in entire Star Rail. Dr. Ratio is still collectable until version 2.1, so hurry up and get him! And sparkle is the most unhinged , giving huge Kurumi Vibes from Date A Live

Yea Sparkle has a split personality and it’s one side is more normal and the other side is an ABSOLUTE maniac. If you could see when she was being unhinged her entire mask was red and there was one where she wasn’t as insane and the mask was white. Than if you couldn’t see ,it shows her actual mask is split in half with red and white.

Ruan Mei seemingly creates Lifeforms at a whim for her research, even a clone of an Emanator of propagation which lasted 56s. And while I can't really stand her, the cat-cake Lifeforms you can make in an Event are adorable. And also, Ratio isnt just incredibly based, but also incredibly good

There's a mass Quality of Life update, so it might be best to continue where you left off, as you'll get over 2000k of that stamina for materials and boss drops and stuff. They made it so it saves up even if you're at max stamina.

I hope you have fun getting back into HSR. I would say that the trailer for Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae has nothing on the animated short. I would absolutely recommend watching that. I was already going to wish for him but that short changed the game. Might need to wait a bit for story spoiler reasons but it's a must watch.
