I'm gonna start a war a bit. I'm a player ever since ggz and so I know the "honkai" lore pretty well as I'm addicted to it. In attempt to stop the farce ongoing to both sides of HI3 and HSR even though they're literally made by the same devs. Welt yes may have been planning to use star of eden and his 1% FRACTION of power from the core of reason to beat Acheron (just in case) or destroy Aventurines and his attack. But that's no means that he's powerful enough to over power the characters currently. HI3rd players should've known, welt never accessed the full authority of the Star of Eden nor the core of reason. He did fight head to head with Sirin (Honkai Queen) but Sirin was a child and that alone made welt die multiple time (this is not a disrespect okay rather a clarification). He may have put a fight to Aventurine and beat him but I think Acheron will stand tall by a large margin if Welt and her Fought. This is the Raiden Mei of HSR that's in the league of HoT in terms of personality (which use cold logic) and accessed her final prowess which is the Origin. As for why Welt is "confident" on fighting her. It was not confidence but rather a "Preparation" for the upcoming battle much like how they did on the Aventurine cutscene. Welt os just really reckless and heroic to the point of making others worry for him. (Yes I'm talking about tesla and the whole hyperion executives) He made a lot of trouble while also solving problems for them. Last example of that is him meeting and making a deal with Void Archives on HI3 Apho before setting of for HSR universe

As a theory crafter from HI3 and GGZ Welt cant do shit to anyone here without HoR core. And even with that he would be at best comparable to Acheron. Herrschers at best can destroy a planet.

Stronger Herrschers like Welt and Sirin primes were both confirmed Solarsystem level in the Durandal VN, and the SE manga backs this up, as Welt threatened to go supernova against Sirin with the equivalent of an imploding white dwarf star. It was also mentioned that Herrschers that came later down the line were even more powerful, such as Origin and HoTr. Then there's Finality, who is easily Multiversal in AP and low outer with dimensional hax. 1% of it's authority can one-shot a planet canonically, as Fu Hua stated in the finale chapter of part 1.5. So Welt in his prime with the HoR core was able to destroy a star system, same thing applies to Sirin. Current Welt is operating at 1% of his full Herrscher authority, but still wields Star of Eden, a weapon that can destroy a planet with it's Zeroth power easily, and at it's weakest rip-off or sink a continent. So Current Welt should at least be planetary at the bare minimum, he just doesn't have access to his full range of abilities related to the HoR. So the main thing he has going for him now is Star of Eden, which does have hax of it's own, like a functional blackhole, time distortion, dimension creation, and Singularly Rebuild, which bends space from higher dimensional planes of existence. So even being an ex Herrscher, the dude is still stupid OP. The only real threats to him in HSR should be top tier Emanators like Zephyro, and the Aeons themselves.

@@wvgz After I rewatch the main story, I just realized he targeted Acheron since his meeting with trailblazer in the room interrupted by Acheron. After that it seems he dug out information about her. You can see after fighting Aventurine boss this cutscene where he's pointing at Acheron while saying 'hiding your ace with a straight face' and 'i know you will match my wager, emanator'. He sounded like taunting Acheron.

Is inherently enough to fold Adventurine if he really needed to do so, and before you pull a "Welt's Herrscher powers are mostly sealed on the moon", Since the Honkai exists everywhere, who's to say he hasn't absorbed some Honkai Energy from the HSR verse?
