Despite being on the defensive, he probably wanted to trust her in the end since he knew Raiden Mei from his own world. He was also a kind of mentor to Bronya who was her friend after all, he probably wouldn’t want animosities with an alternate version of his acquaintances.

If you didn't watch her Myriad Trailer then maybe. The 9th Sword of Izumo is the Star of Eden in the form of a sword, so it's pretty obvious that she recognised it.

You know I really got to love the fact that the VA for Welt is actually using his real voice and not using a impression, And I think the same goes with with Himekos, using their natural voices for their roles is very promising, also for Acheron, I do think Allegra Clark nails Acheron, making her feel menacing with the tone, and a little cute.

I was one of those people at first that was disappointed that they did not have Anne Yatco voice Acheron, like how they used Miyuki Sawashiro to voice every Raiden variant in all their games. But Allegra Clark's performance is SO good, she definitely sounds like a Raiden Mei that's older and more "tired" after everything she has been through.

I was a bit let down by Welt's EN voice at first - too used to Honkai Impact's JP Welt and his deep assured tone and calm authority. EN Welt at the start sounded too hesitant, as if he was about to change his mind with every sentence or pause. I think he did step up here, though.

@@225Reaver honestly I feel like for an english audience, a super deep voice just wouldn't suit him. The slightly gravelly, still somewhat deep voice is perfect. After all, if you go too low, it starts to sound.... cartoon-y. Which is fine for characters like Argenti, but Welt is a very serious guy. The en dub of star rail is honestly amazing overall, but I love the more "realistic" (aka, less forced/acted) voices like Welt's and Himeko's.

acheron coming out at 0:10 was a lot better than in the game. The shot is closer to Welt so we see his expression better and makes Acheron look more menacing at the beginning, reflecting Welt's initial reservations

Some people tend to forget that at the end of the day, he may be semi-retired but he is also the Sovereign, ex-Commander and last-line-of-defense warrior for Anti-Entropy, the organization that protects Earth from godly powerful threats. Many of his apprentices may have far surpassed him in terms of shear power, but he is one of the most capable and intelligent warriors in his earth's history and not someone to be trifled with.

Yup.I’ll put this here Herrschers are strong as emanators and some are stronger then emanators.Welt is no different.His power is to recreate anything even a living being.So if he can learn the atomic imaginary bomb.He can create thousands and that alone can destroy many things an emanator can’t.He also has the star of eden which can absorb stars and create gravitational power.Guess what herrscher the star of eden is made from? Specially for scenes with morr action involed. I remember back when 2.7 dropped, someone animated the scene where Yelan and Itto almost get into a fight and it was such a vast improvement. Because they used very limited animations in the game it felt stiff, but in the video the scene's tention was conveyed much better.

I cannot emphasize enough how much this made Welt my favorite character! I hate it when you’re forced to just accept the mad suspicious person as your ally who YOU HAVE 0 TRUST FOR! I don’t know much of anything about Acheron except that she wields immense power, and killed a group of hyped up villains with such ease she doesn’t remember it. Seeing Welt putting the fear of God into her is by far the coolest thing ever.

Fuck welt just really shot to the top of my list with being one of my favourite characters with these lines, absolute peak fiction this entire game has become. I still want Acheron to come back later on in the story at some point though cuz she is my favourite with firefly being 2nd and now welt 3rd

@@JedisfuneralTM it was not even close to full power.. her drawing the blade is only calling on some of the power of IX, the fact she was able to erase the annihilation gang is impressive alone.. She never gets close to using her power.. she only scratches the surface and she is well aware of what it can do and generally avoids using it...

Please animate more conversations in Genshin and HSR. I LOVE the subtly you as to the characters movements and expressions. It adds so much gravity to the scenes.

I remember how actual scene was going. And the fact that this animation was like a whole cutscene, makes it 100x times better. Like expressions and gestures of a real people. The Welt's walk when he felt a threat from Acheron's knowledge, or how Acheron express about Duke's death. I'd say it's actually a great animation.

Imagine if she asked "Or why the astral express is running around with a former Herrscher on board". Early confirmation that, at least in HSR, she lived a similar life to the Mei in HI3. Shit, they could have Honkai there to in HSR, probably having their own issues with Aeons also existing and stellarons.

Why can't we have more beautiful animated cutscenes like this for every Genshin Impact and Hokai: Star Rail dialogue scenes, I'm aware that animation is a lengthy process and the animators such as Zannir is going many hours (possibly without sleep), that this love and passion for a game we all love should be given this much care as well. But Zannir, keep making beautiful animations when you can, I still love your work no matter when I see it.

Welt should have his Herrscher core and the Star of Eden in his possession as of Post APHO and the manga. Theoretically, he should have his Herrscher powers. The downside is that I don’t think even he has access to the power of Truth like Bronya did. He’d be much weaker with its use than her. Don’t think Bronya even needs a core. Which would mean that for Welt, it’s pretty much the power of Reason. Still very powerful, but if Acheron’s power is to be believed, then the power of Nihility - which can annihilate literally anything - is likely too much for Welt to handle. As said in the story, an Emanator of Nihility shouldn’t even exist. No one should have been strong enough to hold it back in the first place, but even before Acheron gained that power she was already likely at a Herrscher level if her fight as Origin against the End has anything to say about it. Now stack her already insane power as Origin on top of her newly acquired powers over the Nihility, and you have the Deus Ex Machina of Star Rail.
