I was looking up proper ways to blow out my hair over the holidays and started seeing videos about texture release. I had never heard of it before so I delve in. The main brand being talked about was Avalon Texture Release. Some say it’s still really a relaxer. Others says it’s similar to a keratin treatment. As a cosmetologist, is this something you have ever heard of? Did you ever do this for yourself or clients? Had you heard of it but had chosen not to do it? I thought this could be a topic you can bring up as content and shed some light on it. I truly appreciate your videos. Thank you.

Thank you so very much for the " Hydratherma " recommendation. I thought that I would have to cut my hair because of extreme split ends ! :(. NOT the case... My hair was simply thirsty :). I've only used this product twice and I can already see a tremendous difference in the luster and shine of my relaxed hair. This head of hair and I have been together for sixty-years and the more I discover about my African - American hair, the more I love all of it's magical qualities !!!!💟💟

Thank you Niecy! If you had a bad experience with heat, I know it can be difficult. And you don't have to either -- a blow out is optional. I only get a blowout ONCE PER YEAR - that's it! I even skipped last year! LOL!

I also learned so much from this video! First, I never knew that before a blow out and press, you should do a protein treatment, and do another one on your next wash day. I didn't know about oil serum, and about how the hair shouldn't be too dry before your blow out. I'm still afraid of the flat iron. In the past I got too many burns! Lo

Well stay away from it. You can do it when your ready but no rush. I don’t it ONCE A YEAR!

Hi Karen for the hydrothermal proteindeep conditioning that you use pls is it 2 in one? Does it strengthen and balance moisture in your hair at same time or do I have to do a different moisture deep conditioning after I use it . Want to make sure if it’s comprises both moisture and protein in the bottle. Thanks

Hello how do you keep your hair from frizzy up after flat iron?
@MrsNicecamera7 ай бұрын
Hey I so appreciate your feedback. My hair is prone to being frizzy,,,What do you think about straightening/smoothing/keratin shampoos? Do they cause build up and if so will it cancel or block out my deep conditioner from penetrating my strands? And how often should I clarify to reset my hair when using them? A video on this would be awesome.👍 Thank you.
