I never get tired of listening to this song, and I never get tired of Tony Levin's tone. What a gift.

There is no show man on earth like Peter. I mean his music is rich enough but then you see him and his band perform them live and your just completely blown away.

Sometimes you can see a couple who are so close together that it becomes hard to distinguish which one is which. Bits of them disappear into a space that forms between them…..what is a “secret world”!! Couldn’t agree more!!! Only Peter Gabriel would be so perceptive as to put this phenomenon into words and song. 🙏🏾

I'm 62... Peter and friends have been with me all my life, I am grateful BUT, you knew it was coming... my son, is into rap, hip hop... in fact he makes a living making beats for others, he also produces, records, he grew up listening to PG, Marley, Tosh, Stones, Beatles, UB40, more than I can list here. HELL, Peter is for those that listen and close their eyes... and listen more. Thank you Peter, again!

My son is a Millennial 1991. I trained him in Rock and Roll from a young age. He loved AC/DC etc. He never went in for Rap

@@emarekicaRead my post below they can definitely be trained. Rap was the great betrayal of the hard rock and punk era. A whole generation do not know their classic rock roots!! Shameful 😢

I've been blessed to see Peter twice, in '93 on the Secret World tour and '03 on the Growing Up tour. I can tell you that they were 2 of the most incredible experiences I have ever had. His music is truth: pure and all-encompassing,. Eternal. Peter is 100% substance. The existence of his music has made my life all the richer for hearing it, knowing it, and loving it. Thank God for Peter Gabriel. Peace:-)

The man who has done more for rock, blues, folk and all modern music than any other, by promoting 'new' and innovative music, domestic and international. Both behind the scenes and with his bands. A truly dedicated craftsman.

I stood in this sun sheltered place 'Til I could see the face behind the face All that had gone before had left no trace Down by the railway siding In our secret world, we were colliding All the places we were hiding love What was it we were thinking of? So I watch you wash your hair Underwater, unaware And the plane flies through the air Did you think you didn't have to choose it That I alone could win or lose it In all the places we were hiding love What was it we were thinking of? In this house of make believe Divided in two, like Adam and Eve You put out and I receive Down by the railway siding In our secret world, we were colliding In all the places we were hiding love What was it we were thinking of? Oh the wheel is turning spinning round and round And the house is crumbling but the stairways stand With no guilt and no shame, no sorrow or blame Whatever it is, we are all the same Making it up in our secret world [x3] Shaking it up Breaking it up Making it up in our secret world Seeing things that were not there On a wing on a prayer In this state of disrepair Down by the railway siding In our secret world, we were colliding In all the places we were hiding love What was it we were thinking of? Shh, listen

I am a session pro in Nashville... We simply do not make music like this anymore... This my friends is REAL music.... Stop listening to the crap that we put out in Nashville, LA, and New York... No Taylor Swifts, Justin B's, or Lady Gaga's... Force the industry to keep putting out music of this quality.. How do you do that?? By buying PG, Earth Wind and Fire etc... records by the multitudes of millions... That will take care of it
