I can't imagine my life without PG as my music guru per say. He's just my guide to music and has been forever. When I feel lonely, insecure, down and depressed, I can only reach out to his music and my emotional problems find some relief. Thank God for bringing Gabriel into my own world.

I LOVE Peter Gabriel. His voice is amazing and i love the way he truly cares about the things he says and puts into his songs. Music just isn't the same anymore. If i was a bit older and he was a lot younger...oh my =)

I have this on DVD. This is easily my favorite song. I just love near the end when the energy just flies out after the very quiet part. Great song, great live concert. I saw them in America on this tour, but it was nowhere near the caliber of this show.

I saw this show twice in London - Growing Up and Still Growing Up. They were and still are two of the best gigs I’ve ever seen, so inventive. I/o was good too, hope there will be a video of that soon.

I still this Growing Up Live DVD is one of the best concert DVDs I've ever seen. I've enjoyed others for the performances, but Gabriel packs so much into a show it's unbelievable.

been following PG since the eary 70's He has the respect of every musian and artist alive and is a genuine gentleman. I received a letter from him in the 80's for something i wrote, still got it!! my wife and i seen him at glasgow SECC. he and the band (and daughter) were excellent. Like van the man neil young and a host of others, they just get better and better and better.

I've seen PG performing this song once on the "Growing Up" tour in Munich/Germany and the following year on the "Still Growing Up" tour in Vienna/Austria. I can tell you, it sent shivers down my spine when EVERYBODY started to chant and Peter used this to introduce the bandmembers...a real genius!

It is not about who is a better drummer or who is not : it is about Peter Gabriel's MUSIC!!! I am myself a HUGE fan of Manu Katche', but in this tour what really matters is the specific role of the drummer , totally different than that of Gabriel's previous tours. Then I might even agree with you, but the reality of the context is different

the scenographer wrought with the pains of creative labour suddenly looked at the packet of eggs in the fridge next to the beers she was going for and suddenly knew: this ... this is the look i want for the band

This is such an original song (even for PG standards), the feeling of surprise you get listening to it is beautiful. The rhythm is very special too, it's kind of hard to follow, but that's why it's an exciting song. Full of life and humanity, classical PG!

He's an abstract individual examining abstract subject matter. PS this song was written for a children's movie so don't take it too seriously.

I didn't meet you in the jungle Swinging from a tree I sat down at the piano You were playing with me I couldn't believe all the things you could do The apes I've seen were in the zoo They say we are unique with this language that we speak But you have proved them wrong Skinner and Chomsky, how could they be so blind With evidence this strong? Intelligent life is all around us Intelligent life is all around us When you watch King Kong or The Planet of the Apes Upon your video screen When the animals die, tears fill your eye And you question what you've seen Intelligent life is all around us Intelligent life is all around us Hey, bonobo woman Hey, bonobo man Look in your eyes That's where I come from Hey, bonobo woman Hey, bonobo man Talk to me now I am listening You can search the internet You can use your video phone To call another friend If we gave you all the tools You can do whatever you want Who knows when this will end Intelligent life is all around us Hey, bonobo woman Hey, bonobo man Look in your eyes That's where I come from Hey, bonobo woman Hey, bonobo man Talk to me now I am listening Hey, bonobo woman Hey, bonobo man Look in your eyes That's where we come from Hey, bonobo woman Hey, bonobo man Talk to us now We are listening Bonobo calling me now Bonobo calling me now Bonobo calling me now Bonobo calling me now Bonobo calling me now Bonobo calling me now Bonobo calling me now Bonobo calling me now Bonobo calling me now Bonobo calling me now Bonobo calling me now Bonobo calling me now Starting to hear the things you've said Getting to know what's going on in your head There's no humans on the line But there'll be plenty more there in good time Dolphins, cats, and elephants This is not some wild romance Just look in their eyes and say it's not true Look in their eyes, they're checking out you Communication with the Animal Nation We are in communication with the Animal Nation

Great song. Peter Gabriel should name his band "the cuebaldos". At least now Tony Levin isn't the only bald guy on stage anymore. I guess the keyboardist will have to shave her head too though.

I'm not sure what that means, There are numerous times that the director misses the action. It's obvious that he's not familiar enough with the music. And I'll say it again: he completely misses the mark at 7:10.

I think they were trying to do something different with this production. In your videos by Iron Maiden, Whitesnake etc, everything is on the nose - every hysterical guitar solo, cymbal crash or silly face by the bassist is up there for us to see. In this, we are allowed to see the workings, with the men in orange boilersuits rushing around doing their thing, so traditional tropes at times take a back seat. It's a bit of a conceit in itself - maybe a tad pretentious in its way, but kudos to them for trying. And to you also for bringing this nice snippet of music by Tony to my attention.

PR ul NUL. A fost in Romania si si a terminat spectacolul ca intr o tara ocupata. Habar nu a avut in ce tara concerteaza. Dezamagita de insusi Peter Gabriel ca om.
