They were truly underground. But once their bass player got killed by a drunk driver I believed that's when there band dissolved and Dax went solo...Gay...Thanks to people uploading there shit on youtube it revived their legacy

Acid bath was the best..we used to hang out with them and go see them play all the time at zeppelin's in fat city. Always put on a great show. I wish Audie was still here..a killer show would have been acid bath and Audi's side band named shrum. Rest in peace brother..gone but never forgotten. I still listen to acid bath..and also everything sammy is doing now and dax...they are all great..different styles now but still great. Love you all..I stay faithful to my metal brothers. Keep it metal!!

haha I was probably only 4 or 5 when this was recorded. I actually live in Louisiana and am related to Audie Pitre. I am a Cajun, got a few Pitre's in my family. This was probably late 1995 or early 1996 judging by people's haircuts and the way they dress. Even as a kid I remember people looking like this in the mid 90s.

I remember the Spo-Its. I believe one of the members of Spo-Its was the one that booked this show... Dude got PAID that night; sadly when he booked another show, it was Gravity Kills and Sister Machine Gun, and barely 30 people showed up. He lost money big time on this show, and couldnt pay the bands. It was one of the last shows he booked at the glorious Flamingo Bingo. Building is still there in South Carolina but like all other buildings in S.C. right across the bridge, it's been abandoned, probably for over 15 years now... I also remember that guy getting pissed with the band when they sprayed his eyes with sparks from that saw...

Dax is from Indiana originally but moved to Houma around high school. The rest of the band are from the surrounding area, Thibodaux, Galliano & Morgan City which all surround Houma. No body outside of south Louisiana knows where Houma is so the band usually just said they were from New Orleans to keep things simple. Houma is only about an hour drive from New Orleans so it's not far from where they were actually based.
