Seeing what i think is Japanese subtitles over Nola content let along metal just makes me so happy. The American south and east Asia share a lot of cultural interests and geographic influences, always happy when they interact.

Same. I was in a band (Infant Slug) about 40 minutes south of New Orleans in the early 90s. As hard as we worked to get accepted by the other already established bands in the scene, they would never look our way.

I've probably said it before but I'll say it again. I could listen to Sammy talk all day. I love the Cajun accent. I live in Eastern NC on the river and when you start heading towards The Outer Banks, people start sounding like Pirates. The accent is called The High Tider. It's the only place in the world people speak like that.

Sammy has sexy eyes. I didn't notice him with all his hair. 😆 I saw them at the Capitol District, The Cog Factory, and in South Dakota at this rundown ballroom. They rocked. The following album Pegan Terriost Tactics was a masterpiece. I have some pictures of them at The Cog Factory. My partner at the time would document them everywhere they played and was friends with the lead singer Dax. No one will ever sound like them. They were pretty unique.

Does anyone know where I can watch the full documentary?
I grew up in the punk scene in the 90's in Thibodaux and we kinda hated Acid Bath because that was the thing to do for some stupid reason. These guys were always nice to local bands but I wish I would have an opportunity to sit down with Sammy and Audie around a fire or something and meld the punk rock and metal

as a musician in a city 100 miles northeast of NOLA and who has played down there and has best friends in bands down there, you absolutely have to be a local to be accepted there. I'm still not accepted down there.

I love the existential thought expressed at the end about having no hope, and nothing. The next step? What do I do now? Either Sartre or Camus had the line about either killing yourself or getting a cup of coffee.

Dark throne is for lames & posers. Soilent green we’re great back in the day.. but GW is cringe hack queen crap. Sammy was alway pretentious.. very fitting for GW though. Acid Bath had pure magical talent in all directions.. Sammy was just great being an extra guitar player backing vocalist.. the rest of the group had the magic and vision.. they all matured. Except Sammy.. rip audie.. he would be doing something truly unique if he was still around. But we may have never gotten the masterpiece that was Agents without that loss.

Based lol. Yeah I mean I don’t get much out of Goatwhore, chunky riffs and screaming is what he’s good I guess hehe. Soilent green acid bath and crowbar all had that magick of 90s sludge. I love Audies side project Shrum too. Acid bath was a perfect formula of members truly!!
