Everything began with the Father betraying Davoth. Davoth seeks immortality->Father betrays him->Father leaves Urdak in fear from Davoth->the Khan has to rule and goes mad->Davoth influences many characters in order to get revenge on the Father->the Doom Slayer was born-> the Slayer destroys the Fathers body (but he is still alive)->the Slayer kills Davoth-> the Father puts the Slayer in his tomb. Basically the one who started it all - the Father - is still alive and can potentially be the next antagonist(alongside with Samur maybe). And i think it might be a circle like in Star Wars where they got inspiration from too... There is a Master and an Apprantice. The master being Davoth who is overthrown by his Apprantice the Father(who was created by him). So maybe the Father will to create his own downfall too. Oh man this was a lot... i really would like Acid to notice this...

The way I figure it. Now that Davoth is dead, and the Doom slayer incapacitated, the 6 great demon gods now have nothing to stop them from taking his vacant throne. Leading to a chance for a civil war in hell. With them hoping to sieze the vacant throne of hell and renew the conquest of the realms. I am really hoping that these guys are diverse and unique from one another. Their forms, their realms, their personality, their powers, ect. We already saw one in the form of Erebus, but, what of the other 5? I personally hope that one of them leads more to the theme of Lucifer, appearing as a holy angelic being, but then turning into the true monster that he is.

To add: Leviathan is known as the demon prince of envy and is associated with water and oceans. We don't usually associate water with hell but we do with 'abyss' and things of the like. Frankly water hell and water demons are definitely something they could experiment with. Plus, sea serpents in doom? Come on that's cool enough.

I have always knew that there was more than one reason why the Slayer went homicidal on Hell. I think that he lost his family before the invasion. He bought or was given Daisy as an emotional support animal to help him cope with his loss. That's mostly likely why he didn't think twice about punching and knocking out his Commanding Officer. To him, felt like that he had nothing to loose. The straw that broke the camel's back. Was when Daisy died, all those emotions that Daisy helped control came out. Also he got so attached to her she became the child that he lost.

Doomslayer is of course impressive but he is not 'I literally have the power of god, creator of everything'- impressive. In some religions and stories gods sacrifice themselves or their power to create. I'm saying that yes, Doomslayer got Davoths powers but they are a shadow of what was once. I'm trying to justify Davoth losing to his own creation, the father. And Doomslayer still being a man and not a god. A decline of power definitely happened at some point.

The entire 'world' shook and given the "Cthulu" elements of the Maykrs and how much Hugo keeps bringing up Cthulu, and how "ancient gods" or "primordial gods" are often referenced as giant beings with tentacles I'm thinking that there is a huge massive Cthulu being somewhere in or beneath Urdak. The mother of the Maykr's and IT is the most ancient of gods. I'll bet 10 dollars it's name is Azathoth or based on him. Hugo loves HP Lovecraft.

I have a question in regards to a podium titled “Immoran Alter.” The Immoran Alter is obviously in reference to Immora, the capital city of Jekkad. The word Immoran could be indicating the architectural style prevalent within Immora, or it could be the name of Jekkad’s last people, those who live within Immora. Similar to how a persons regional title is in reference to their state or country. Or how certain forms of architecture are inspired by various cultures, and will go on to utilize its name as a sort of identification of where exactly it originated from. So, do you think Immoran is in reference to the Hellish biomechanical architecture prevalent within Immora, or is it referring to the citizens of Immora?

SPOILERS FOR TAG 2 BELOW! I found it interesting that Hugo Martin made a clear distinction between Doomguy and the Doom Slayer. Obviously, we know they're the same person but the Slayer is a "divinely" enhanced version. With this in mind, the fact that TAG 2 states it serves as the ending for the Doom Slayer Saga, combined with the fact that the Slayer seemingly loses the powers granted to him by the Divinity Machine after killing Davoth, makes me wonder if we'll be seeing more DLC story content or a possible sequel to continue this universe. With Doomguy sealed away by the Father and his Seraphs, I'm not entirely sure how it would pick up again and it'd be strange to go into Doom 3 without the familiar capabilities of the Slayer. Just a thought.

The Doom Slayer was made when Devoth transfered bits of his power in Doom Guy. Before that Doom guy already saved earth 3 times, killed the Icon of Sin twice, and decided to stay in Hell to kill anything else that shows up. When they claim that the divinity machine gave him incredible strength and speed... I don't think it did anything noticeable. The sentinels writing the script just didn't know that Doom guy had all those traits already.

Wrong, he was very exhausted when the sentinels found him at the sentinel prime. Doomguy was also going crazy. It was only when he trained under the sentinels, and powered up by the divinity machine is when he became pm unlimited in stamina, speed and power.

As far as the mysterious voice when you beat Khan Makyr, wasn’t that updated to read Dark Lord in the subtitles? I think the biggest questions will are, is Samur going to be the dark priest from the blood tree prophecy, what made Davoth and what’s their relation to Doomguy’s original universe if they have any power there? Also as a side-note, if that picture is of his wife and child, why would he be seeing visions of Daisy and not them? To me, that would imply that the rabbit meant more to him than his own family, which doesn’t make much sense. I was under the impression he was alone, according to the original lore. I don’t know when he would’ve had time to create a family during those events, seems like an odd retcon.

I always thought it was the sphere in the Khan maykers torso, if I remember correctly it was stated that that sphere was essentially the combined life forces of all previous khans before her. That mysterious voice being the collective inside the sphere screaming out before they too disappear now that the Khan mayker is dead.

Davoths downfall can be a conspiracy of the unnamed TerraGod punishing DL for casting the image Heaven and Hell by creating idols of it. This unnamed TerraGod may have plotted the Entity of Ultimate Doom in the form of the Doom Lord himself to destroy all the idolatry Davoth has made. This came to punish when Doom Lord literally ruined both Urdak (Heaven) and (Jekkad) towards the end of the game.

Davoth takes credit for creating VEGA and the Makyrs, as well as Urdak and Jeddak but nowhere even Davoth calls himself God. Cinematic also shows Davoths creation cease to exist outside of Jekkad should he fall in ritual combat. Yet Terrans and Argent De'nurians remain standing proves Davoth did not create them. This importance suggests Davoth is the first made by the God Creator who perhaps made Terra and Argent De'Nur Himself.

Also after the father betrayed him it's possible the father found a way to severe his connection with the dark lord his creator to avoid what happened to the slayer after davoths death from happening to him. Then the father whose power was of immense proportions enough to strip the one true God of his might and power created urdak and the sentinels so technically they are not davoths creations hence survived his death but since the power used to create the slayer is that of davoth in his prime god form , hisdeath maybe destroyed that power too hence why the slayer collapsed. The seraphs may just be the priest caste of makyr society. There are the workers, angels, and of course the khan. It is possible that Davoth created more deities to watch over the worlds. The makyr scripts simply rewrite about the ancient gods.

I think there's been a bit of retconning between games and it's leading to contradictions. Now there's a one before the first one? It just makes me wonder about why did Samur/Hayden want Vega thrown away in 2016 or other details like what about the VFR protagonist if Samur was never a human cyborg. I don't think VFR is necessarily canon at this point.

For a while, I thought the Mysterious Voice could be the Father since VEGA had just remembered who he really was an was witnessing the destruction of Urdak, his homeworld, but the idea of it being another entity is interesting. Then again, how much longer can we milk this storyline unless the next games feature all new enemies from another world entirely?

I always thought it was the Dark Lord before TAG1 came out. But when they added "The Dark Lord" from the ending text of the Khan, it did contradict Davoth's plan for revenge against the Maykrs. It caused alot of confusion. I can see why they changed it back. I have one more big question left: What exactly are the wraiths? Where did the world spear containing all the wraiths come from? Who made the wraiths? How powerful are the wraiths? I think there is also some information missing on "The Wretch", supposedly a demon that gave the Doom Slayer the Preator Suit armor before DOOM 2016. And as many others have mentioned, while all demons outside hell were destroyed, there are still demons in hell, especially the 6 Archdemons, one of which is a giant fat slob named Erebus. They could represent the 7 deadly sins, with Davoth being wrath of course, and Erebus looks like gluttony to me. And what about the Father and the Maykrs? The Father certainly survived the destruction of his lifesphere through being an AI, and he zapped the Seraphim Samur Maykr away when the Doom Slayer was about to kill him, so he still has great powers. I think all the Maykrs will go through "transfiguration" and essentially become demons now, like Samur Maykr did, with the flow of Argent energy cut off, and the Father's life sphere destroyed. The Maykrs are likely to seek a new alliance with hell, so they can stop this transfiguration, but the Father would forbid this I think. It seems to me that the Father didn't know about the actions of the Khan Maykr, with him being sealed away in his life sphere and then brought to earth by Samur. The Father seems to hold no grudge with the Doom Slayer even, despite the Doom Slayer destroying his life sphere. Which is a bit confusing, but I think the Doom Slayer had to do it, because the Father would not allow him to kill Davoth, as he couldn't do it himself all those millenia ago. If the Maykrs wouldn't manage to find a new source of Argent energy, they would become demons themselves and start to attack innocent worlds again. Regardless, the Father would lose grip of the situation again, and either him or the Ancient Gods would wake the Slayer back up and have him fight the demons and likely also Maykrs again. Speaking of the Ancient Gods, I think they made Davoth and also the Wraiths, and maybe some other beings like the Seraphim or even the Father or the Archdemons, and they made some of these more powerful and others less, with the less powerful serving the more powerful ones. And they didn't initially create these beings as good or evil. I believe the deep lore could be somewhat like in the Silmarillion for the Lord of the Rings in that regard. The Father lied about being the ultimate creator, so why shouldn't Davoth have lie, too? Or maybe nobody knows for sure anymore, because even "gods" can start to believe their own lies or forget over millions of years. But I am for sure that the Ancient Gods very rarely if ever take direct action. We saw them reveal themselves and act as onlookers, and talk a bit, maybe give orders to Seraphim, but they didn't actually do anything so far.

I have a theory about crucible . so far we know that crucible wasnt the sword of davoth and the real owner is unknown i think crucible was the sword that father created and defeated davoth with crucible and after defeating him he stole a huge part of his power and kept it in crucible because he couldn't hold that much of power and know samur makyr is going to unlock that power and since it is a huge part of davoth Davoth will control samur makyr and the story goes on....

I think the Demonic Crucible was a weapon Davoth had during his time ruling Jekkad. Then it became corrupted by his power and turning his world into Hell. I just don't know why it would end up in the Necropolis and why it was placed there or if others had found it over the Ages. It's an interesting topic because you see one being that resembles a Maykr Angel holding it in some statues.

Listen, logically it can only be The Father, if that "Mysterious voice" is really a separate character and he is so powerful then Hugo Martin should talk about him more clearly and introduce him more specifically. Since this is the end of Slayer's saga, every character should be revealed regardless of whether their level is high or low. But he's just meant to be quite open, just to excite the imagination of those interested in learning about the lore of Doom. I'm pretty sure Hugo was just joking with the fans. And not all of us know very well that Davoth is the first being, and the creator of all. Maybe no one else is above him but Slayer.

Hmm, well the Family he had was pre-Doom days, he doesn’t have the suit in the images, but Daisy oddly has plenty of stuff that wouldn’t be there if it was daisy that died in the first he’ll attack on earth. For instance, the painting of the Slayer with Daisy in his hand, and the rabbit cage in the Fortress of Doom insisting that maybe rabbits are how he copes with it, and he fixates on rabbits because it hurts too much to think about his family

I think there was a mistake in the lore here, the developers did intend for that 'mysterious' voice to be the dark lord, cause the more human souls they gave the more his army grew, but they kinda forgot that the dark lord was supposed to support the khan mykers and made him want them to be destroyed and that's were the fuck up happened, after the fanbase pointed out their error they tried to save face and say "oh ahhh that voice ahhh... it was a more ancient being more older and powerful then davoth." Yeah let's be real here there kinda making this stuff up as they go along, nothing wrong with that, Akira Toriyama does this all the time with dragon ball.

In my personal opinion, they should do something similar to the gods/Valar in Lord of the Rings. Davoth in my opinion, is like the fallen Vala, Melkor, who was driven by greed and selfish ambition. Devoth can be responsible for the creation of many things, being one the most powerful gods/valar, but ultimately even he had his creator, like Eru Ilúvatar in the Middle Earth. The plot twist could still work, and I reaaaally want to like it, it just needs refined a bit in some instances to make it more consistent... Ultimately, I find a hard time believing this Dev-shmuck is the *All in All...* cause if he was I doubt he could've been defeated by the Father/Vega in the first place. Idk why it's bugging me so much lol. I don't wanna criticize the writers too harshly either.
