I'm up at 4 a.m. ,haven't slept last night. Just tuned in to this site and I am well pleased. For other people who may be up, and lonely, just know that God loves you and there will be times of joy just around the corner, if you just hang in there for one more day. For all the broken hearts of people, love can come around again. I know. It will be alright. Love you all

You sound like you just might, just might, be the one. Great music at 3:00 AM this morning. I know I'll see sunrise; always do. First tonight it was a Jefferson Airplane concert from '67 and now this. I found another one of these Acid Jazz playlists on my feedearlier, so I saved it for later. This one works right now. Well, have a good listen. Peace & Love, something there isn't enough of in the 🌎 right now. LedHed Pb207.20 🎶 🎸🎹,

There's no such thing as "Acid Jazz." There is Jazz, and there is acid music, and there is country music, and there is classical music, but there isn't such a thing as "Acid Country Music," or "Acid Classical Music," or "Acid D&B Music," etc., etc. The truth about it is that people who are seriously into doing acid (i.e. people who are practically nonexistent now seeing as how it's next to impossible to find genuine LSD 25 these days) would recoil with offense against so-called "Acid Jazz," or "Acid Country," etc., as they use the Acid music as a vehicle to get them into a mental and/or spiritual realm that is like no other (akin to nirvana), and which only Acid music can accomplish. Country music, Jazz, music, Classical music, D&B music, et al, don't come close to touching it. And even then, most so-called "Acid Music" falls short of touching it. Getting into that genuine psychedelic realm isn't easy to do, even under the best of circumstances. Genuine Acid Music can definitely help getting there, but there is no guarantee that it will do the job every time. I'm 78 years old now and I did a lot of acid when I was in my early 20's, most of which wasn't genuine LSD 25. Most of it was laced with speed which always ruined it for me. I took acid over fifty times during a three year period in the late 60's - early 70's, and out of all of those times I'd say only ten or fifteen of them were genuine LSD 25. In January of 1970 I took a purple Owsley (1500 mg. of LSD 25 laced with some other mind altering chemicals) and I stayed stoned on it for nearly a month. It actually took me six months to get back to normal from taking it. In April of 1970 a friend of mine and I split a blue Owsley (a blue Owsley had 1000 mg. of LSD 25) and we both stayed stoned on it for over a week. The most nirvana-like acid experience I ever had was in November of 1969 when I took a capsule of acid that came from Sandoz laboratories. It was packaged in a small clear cellophane envelope that was set inside of a small white cardboard frame that was stamped with a light blue stamp that said: "LSD 25 (250 mg.). Looking back I think within an hour after taking it I actually did have an experience unlike any other I've ever had, which I think fits the description of nirvana. I was lying on my back looking off into the void and all of a sudden I saw a flash of bright white light that was far and away the brightest and most beautiful ball of light I've ever seen. It only lasted for about five seconds. After it went away I experienced a sense of acceleration that was so strong that I thought if it got any stronger that it would kill me. That lasted maybe seven or eight seconds, then it stopped. After it stopped I felt like I didn't know where I was, but I felt so good that it didn't matter to me where I was. I guess the reason I wanted to mention these episodes is to prove that when it comes to the subject of psychedelic experiences I know what I'm talking about.

Still high at 78? That must have been good acid. Defunkley not jazz
@jimyost2585Ай бұрын
@@duncanecob7827 ~ I didn't mean to infer that I'm still high from the psychedelics I took when I was in my 20's, but I will admit that I have occasional episodes of euphoria that I attribute to having done those drugs way back then, what psychologists and psychiatrists call "flashbacks." I have them several times per year. They usually only last for a few seconds and are always pleasant. I can't recall ever having had a negative 'flashback.' I wish I knew of a way to make the episodes last longer. I won't try taking psychedelic drugs because I'm afraid to push the envelope. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have gotten by with having done those drugs and still have most of my mind still intact (I guess that's debatable).

Waaaahhhh. I took way more than you, and had beautiful trips. 1000mcg WidowPane, also known as Clearlight. Those were the days. And for FYI, we used to trip to the 'light fantastic' while listening to jazz, jazz fusion, and RnR equally all the time. Coltrane is 😎 on 25. The '70s were a blast. 😎 OH, here I am burnin' a fattie. 😎 LedHed Pb 207.20 🎶 🎸 🎹

@@williamhiles7404 ~ In Jan. of 1970 I took a Purple Owsley which had 1500 mcg.. of LSD 25, plus it had some strychnine (as a color inducer), plus it had some other ingredients which Stanley Owsley kept secret. It took me a full month to completely come down off of it, and during the second week of that month I couldn't talk for a week. That scared me more than anything ever has. Actually, I''ve been having flashbacks from it ever since (the flashbacks usually only last for a few seconds and are always pleasant). I was 23 years old when I took that Purple Owsley. I'm 78 years old now. I would never do acid again because I feel lucky to have gotten through those years with a measure of my sanity left. I would do mescaline if I could find it. Back in those days I always thought that mescaline was more fun than acid as it was so unpredictable (exciting) yet never overpowering. In Nov. of 1969 I took a dose of pure LSD 25 that was made by Sandoz Laboratories. It came in a little sealed envelope that was labeled "LSD-25, 250mcg." About twenty minutes after I took it I was lying on my back on my livingroom floor, and I saw a flash of bright white light that probably would've blinded me if I had seen it with my physical eyes, followed by an indescribable feeling of acceleration. That feeling only lasted for maybe three or four seconds, but it was enough to make me think that there is vehicle made by man that could take you for a ride that would give you a feeling like that. But throughout my hippy years I did listen to Jazz music some (e.g. Jan Hammer, Billy Cobham, Stanley Clark, et al), but my favorites during those years were heavy rock and roll (e.g. Quicksliver Messenger Service, Grateful Dead, Jeff Beck, Jethro Tull, Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd, Dave Mason, Blind Faith, et al). Then later in my life I started leaning toward fusion Jazz musicians (e.g. Weather Report, Focus [Jan Akkerman and Thijs Van Leer], John Abercrombie and Ralph Towner, Pat Metheney, Special EFX, Brand X, et. al). Now I mostly listen to music by Plaid, Durutti Column, Art of Noise, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, et al.
